Note I skipped season two entirely because it's not particularly my favorite and I know as soon as I get season three done I'll get into Tomoko's story and a lot will be cleared up before writing her in season 4.
The female titan identity's been revealed, it was a very talented cadet from the 104th training corps, Annie Leonhart. Not to mention death at Utguard castle, and the discovery of three new Titan shifters, Ymir, Reiner, and Bertholdt.
"Didn't Annie join the MPs?" Tomoko asked Hange, Levi beside her.
"Yeah, she was one of the lucky few to graduate in the top 10's." Hange answered.
"Just proves you can't trust those stubborn assholes." Levi spoke up. Hange glanced over at him, smile across her face.
"Thanks," Tomoko glared, a slight smirk on her own face.
"Anyways that's besides the point. He's right. Most military police officers egos are more bloated that the pathetic merchants in wall sina." She sighed,
"I'd know."
"You sure you aren't one of those egotistical jackasses?" Levi glanced at her as she kicked the chair he was sitting in.
"I never thought that because I was a Military Police officer that I was better than anyone." She muttered. A very noticeable grin was plastered across Hange's face as she watched the two bicker.
"I take it you're feeling better Tomoko." Hange smiled.
"Oh, I suppose yes. Not as perturbed." She smiled at the scientist, who returned a grin. Tomoko recalled the events, regretting doing so as gruesome sights began flooding her mind.
"So, about the whole protecting Eren and Historia thing, are we absolutely positive Levi's squad will be able to take on such a task?" Tomoko questioned.
"They'll be fine, we'll be there." Levi answered, glancing at the girl. She smiled thinking of being in wall Sina for a while, seeing her old home, getting work done, all she could think about was how great it'd be.As the two authority figures of the new combined squad walked towards the cottage they would reside in for now, a feud was heard from Jean and Eren, others butting in to make snide remarks on either side. Tomoko sighed at the sound, she rubbed her temples and grumbled in frustration as she pondered about what the two airheads were fighting about this time. Levi walked in, Tomoko followed behind, catching Historia's glance of worry as the conversation had been directed towards the two captains.
"Captain Levi's gonna use your dense head as a mop and Captain Tomoko'll use my spilled blood as the cleaner, you bonehead!" Eren spat, Jean was about to retort but had noticed Levi grazing his hand on the bottom of the table, dust falling.
"I thought I told you all to clean, yet this place is still littered in filth." Levi glared at the group, panic spreading as they stared in horror at the man.
"Whatever, that's not important right now. Don't think you're in the clear though." Levi glared at the group.
"Hey Eren, Hange's ready for the experiment so whenever you're ready." Tomoko nodded towards the door.
"Oh, yeah." He began walking towards the captains, worry still apparent in his behavior. As Levi, Eren, and the rest of the 104th left, Tomoko stayed behind. She wanted some peace before charging straight back into hell once more. As she watched everyone leave, she poured herself a cup of tea, and sat at the long wooden table. She basked in the only silence she experienced since she had gone out with her new squad. She took a glance at the pattern of the wood grain in the delicately crafted table. She was calmed, and it wasn't long before she nodded off.
The same dream had taken place, her husbands death, her child, all of it, except the mysterious figure who had taken the place of her husband was clearer. She could make out the cold and gray narrow eyes, the raven black hair in a neat undercut. It was Levi.
"What the hell.." she awoke, tears falling from her eyes like they had the other times she had the dream.
"God dammit, I better get going." She hurried, ignoring what she just saw. She pulled her head on and ran out the door. Hopping on her horse she began heading over to the spot Hange was conducting her experiments."Eren!" Tomoko heard Hange scream as she made her way to the clearing. Levi and Armin conversed quietly as Tomoko glanced over the edge of the small cliff they stood on. She immediately turned her back as she saw the gruesome state Eren was in, his face slightly torn off to reveal his bloody muscles and skull.
"Hange, you were supposed to experiment on him, not kill him!" Tomoko yelled down.
"Ah, it's fine! Just a bump in the road!" Hange hollered back. Another shriek was heard as she pulled Eren off of the Titan, and obviously worried Mikasa close to him.
"Just a bump in the road hm.." she snickered. Armin glanced over at her, visibly confused at her calm reaction.
"He'll be fine, he can regenerate like a Titan so losing some skin here and there shouldn't be a problem." Tomoko answered, addressing the look on his face.
"I suppose, although I can't help being worried." Armin sighed.
"Well yeah, that's human nature, especially when you're such good friends with him." She assured, climbing down her horse.
"Our job is to keep him safe, for humanity's sake, nothing bad will come to him under our surveillance." She winked at Armin, smiling brightly.
"You're right." He smiled back. Levi kept silent, watching the two talk. Tomoko glanced over at him, catching his eyes, before turning her attention to the still screaming Hange.
"Experiment over! All troops withdraw immediately!" She heard. Armin ran off, grabbing his horse and climbing on before following the others. Historia, Levi, and Tomoko were left on top of the ledge.
"Head back with Eren, Historia. Tomoko, you'll come with me and we'll join Hange's group." Levi ordered. A quiet 'sir' was heard as Historia began making her way to where Eren was.
"What's the plan?" Tomoko asked, keeping her gaze on Historia.
"We'll head to Trost with Hange and go on from there." Levi murmured.
"Let's go." He spoke in his usual harsh and stoic tone, however as he did, he grabbed Tomoko's wrist gently, softly guiding her to meet up with the others.
