Shoto takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. He looks down at the royal blue gown that looks as if it was just taken out of the package, that flows down to the grassy field under him. Chairs are laid out wherever he looks, taking in the exception of the large stage that sits in front of all the chairs, the schools blue and gold colors on banners that hang near the steps that lead onto the platform, balloons that are filled with helium making an arc near the middle.
It took the staff one week to set up, but just because it didn't take long, doesn't mean that it wasn't hard to do. U.A. sure did make a big deal out of graduation. Well, he supposed that managing to survive three years of fighting villains--which, their first one consisted of constantly getting targeted by the League of Villains--was impressive, with their age.
But other than that, he hadn't changed a single bit.
Except that he had a girlfriend.
Which, might be a big deal, now that he's thinking about it.
"Shoto! Shoto!"
And speak of the devil.
He looks up to the girl who's running up to him, adorning the same royal blue gown that he is, her jet-black hair escaping from under the graduation cap on her head. Happiness exuded off her, the smile on her face only growing as she approached him. And in that moment, Shoto felt like he was the luckiest person in the world.
To cherish her joyful presence.
To cherish her smile.
To cherish her inexplicable beauty.
To cherish her.
And suddenly, he fell to the ground. A body crashed into his chest, toppling him and Momo to the ground. Shoto groaned in pain as his back hit the ground--although the hero training he endured was far worse--his arms flying to his sides. Momo pays no attention to that and pulls herself closer by encasing his neck between her arms, a quiet giggle escaping her.
"Can you believe it?" Momo asks.
Shoto looks blankly at her. "What do you mean?"
She laughs against his chest, the vibrations from her voice traveling through his chest. "I mean that we're graduating. We're becoming pro heroes." Momo says.
Shoto rests his hands on the small of her back, letting her head nestle in his neck. A soft smile spread across his lips, corners of his mouth perking up a bit. "Yeah. I'm excited too." He replies into her ear.
"Oi, IcyHot!"
"Momo!"
Katsuki and Ochako run over to the couple that are laying on the ground, Katsuki wearing his normal scowl, while the complete opposite of him, Ochako, is wearing a smile that completely overshadows his negative energy. "Aren't you guys excited? Why're you guys lying on the floor?" Ochako asks, kneeling down onto the grass with them, her feet seated under her.
Momo rolls off his body--much to his dismay--and closes her eyes, squealing in delight. "Of course we're excited!" She kicks up her feet, sitting up to turn her head to Ochako. "We're graduating!"
Katsuki clicks his tongue. "Well, get up off the grass. If you stay there any longer you're gonna stain the gowns." Shoto doesn't move. "IcyHot, you better get your ass off the grass."
Shoto stands up rather slowly, making sure to brush the dirt and grass off his gown. "Don't worry, don't worry," he says calmly, "It won't be dirty for the ceremony, if that's what you worried about."
