Chapter 16

It was now dark as the stars occupied the endless void in the sky, Takemichi chaperoned on Chifuyu's bike, while (Y/N) rode on her own. None of them spoke to each other during the whole trip towards where Chifuyu wanted to take them. Few minutes later, they arrived at an empty park.

They all got off their motorbikes and stared at the dozens of buildings infront of them. It was quite a sight during the nighttime.

"Nice bike, isn't it?" Chifuyu spoke.

Takemichi kept quiet to let Chifuyu continue to speak, while (Y/N) glanced at the bike sadly.

"It's a momento from Baji-san." He smiled.

Takemichi glared daggers to the ground, "Chifuyu, I get it. You're gonna tell me to not take on the Black Dragons myself too, right? I know, you wanna say my friends are there for me! But..."

(Y/N)'s eyes widened slightly, then soften when Takemichi started to tear up and tremble. It seemed that whatever he was thinking was really serious and he was desperate.

"Takemichi..."

"Haha." Chifuyu chuckled, "I didn't bring you out here to say that, man. Just... have fun with this, all right?" He grinned.

Chifuyu turned back towards the scenery infront of him, "Baji-san didn't leave Toman to you because he wanted you to stress out."

"Baji-san would be so mad at you right now. He would be like, "Cheer the fuck up, shitty-mitchy!" Chifuyu laughed and (Y/N) chuckled. That definitely would be what Baji would say to him.

Takemichi sniffled and more tears formed in his eyes, "Chifuyu..."

"Takemitchy,"

The bleach-blonde turned to (Y/N), "I know, what I said earlier was a bit harsh, and I'm sorry for that. It's just that, when you said that you'll fix this on your own..."

She looked down sadly, "...it reminded me of Baji a lot."

Takemichi's eyes widened.

"That's why," She lifted her head, "I don't want anyone else to go through that again. Takemitchy, if there's anything we could do to help, just tell us, okay? We're here for you dude!" She grinned.

More tears flooded Takemichi's eyes as he stared at the two people infront of him in admiration. "(Y/N)-san... you guys... I..!

"Hold on. What do you mean.. you came from the future?" Chifuyu asked seriously.

"You're... joking, right?" She eyed him weirdly.

Takemichi froze as he realised his mistake, but he knew he can't stop now. From then, he told them everything from the first time he time-travelled until now, all the events that happened, on how he time-travelled to save Hina, Draken's death, Baji's death, on how future Toman had been corrupted, all because of Kisaki, and finally, what had happened to the two of them in the future. Chifuyu and (Y/N) listened attentively to every single detail the boy infront of them had described. To others, it may sound like he's messing with them, but Chifuyu and (Y/N) couldn't even think that way because of how serious Takemichi looked.

Takemichi also mentioned that Kazutora told him in the future, Mikey would be going after every Toman founding member and kill them all, excluding (Y/N). That's because she was the one Mikey trusted the most, but in the end, she became one of Kisaki's puppets into cleaning up Toman's mess.

But most importantly, he didn't tell them that the person who actually killed Chifuyu was the girl standing right next to him. Because Takemichi knew that it wasn't her fault that Kisaki had controlled her like a puppet.
