"Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what."

**********Evanna's POV**********

"Free have you seen Bash?" I asked Free while she picks up a rapier and puts it next to all the weapons she had gathered for our hunt outside the shadows.

"No. In fact I haven't seen him since last night."

"Uh, OK I'll ask the others, we need the guy." I say while turning out but then stop mid way and look at Free again, "Free?"

"Ya" she looks up at me with her big grey eyes and I continue,

"Have you heard anything about Josh, he told me he was going out of the shadows for a while or so."

"Last time I saw him, he was asking for you, He never mentioned going out anywhere. Where could he have gone?" She wonders with a worried expression mirroring mine.

"Don't worry, He has enough sense to cover his tracks and carry some magic potions, I went around in his cabin to look for him but all the potions, maps, and his hunting gear were missing. He will come back eventually." I say as I make my way toward Anthony.

The stench of manure hits me hard and I cringe visibly, I make my way over to the last stall with Antony but then a sudden groan stops me.

I walk backwards and slowly stop next to a person lying on his side with a thin blanket placed above him. I crouched down low beside him, and nudged his shoulder a little roughly when he suddenly got sat upright pushing me back and making me sit down while yelling and moving his hands in air, "What happened!!!?" And I just kept staring at the person who happened to be Bash himself, but what confused me even more was why he was here, in the stables, I'm pretty sure that we had extra cabins available then why did he felt the need to sleep here?

"What are you doing here Bash?" I asked cautiously as he still was absorbing the fact that it was me who woke him up and not an I Apocalypse.

He was still frozen but then reacted when I said his name, " Um I was told stay here, because someth- I mean there was a women who ordered me to go and stay in the stables where no one would look for me and I came here but I didn't realize that I slept- wh-what are you doing here?"

I still keep staring at his sleepy form, he was still rubbing his eyes with both hands making the muscles on his forearms contract, his dark hair were standing in every direction and little pieces of hay were caught in them. My hands unconsciously shot ahead and slowly removed the pieces of hay from his hair while he stilted beneath me. I removed my hand and he was intensely staring at me curious to as what I was doing. I cleared my throat and looked away focusing on Anthony who was drinking water from a bucket next to him, " Um, We need to move. There has been a breech by the Ascendants or maybe something bigger than them bit we haven't figured it out yet. We need to keep moving and find the other user. The one who will bind us and make us stronger. Together we will train."

I finally look at him and find him starting at me again, I narrow my eyes at him, " Did you listen to anything I just said?" I asked him with anger seeing into my words.

"It's very hard not to."

I huffed in annoyance and stand back up, " Get up, go wash yourself, have some food and get ready, we will be leaving before Dawn breaks. Oh and make sure not to wake the others up. Everyone was training before and need rest. And you were here sleeping when you could have also be training with them."

"I-I didn't know how much time had passed and no one had come to wake me up any besides I don't think I need that much training, I used to train back at the castle too." He said while getting up and dusting himself off.
