"One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn't fall apart."

***********Mystery POV********(Don't worry u shall find out whose it is in the end ;)

I slowed down my horse as we reached the gates of the castle, and upon our arrival minimum of 10 guards were surrounding me while one stepped forward and said, "Step off the horse and state your business."

thankfully my robe was still covering half of my face and that saved me from suspicion. I got down my horse, "I am interested in meeting the hunter, and don't ask why, it's none of your business." I said in a monotone.

"Well said, looking from your attire you must be one of those spies that he must have placed around the forests. My men will take your horse to the stables. why don't you follow me and we shall meet who yo want to." and with that said he turned away from me in the direction he came from and started to walk ahead while dismissing the other guards.

He thought i was a spy!

YES!!!!!

So choosing this 'outfit' wasn't such a waste. I quietly did a quick fist pump while one of the guards caught me doing so and gave me a funny look while I regained my posture and stiffened my shoulders maintaining my cold vibe. That's what spies do right?

I kept following behind him and we passed through many tall pillars draped with chiffon fabrics and beautiful carved sculptures stood within every 5 feet. what if i stole one? I mean a lot of money would for sure come out of it! The castle looked both beautiful and deadly.

After a few moments the guard stopped in front of 2 huge doors which revealed thick red curtains upon opening them.

the guard pulled the curtain aside and made enough space so that i could go through, I nervously looked between him and what was behind the curtain.

I stepped through and was greeted by more than 20 men who were sitting down and were either taking heatedly to each other or drinking while getting a lot of attention from the dancer's bottom.

however, my eyes were looking for that one man who I've waited to meet for a very long time.

seated afar on a royal looking chair with his shoulder slumped was a young man. His short dark brown hair fell carelessly over his piercing dark eyes, his eye brows settled over a small frown as he focused to the old servant to talked to him. He had a diamond like jawline with light stubble.

suddenly his eyes narrowed and moved around the room until finally settling on me and his face morphed into a sour grimace. I walked over to where he was seated as my cloak flowed behind me. Upon reaching him he said in a dangerously low voice, "Why have you come here? What business do you have?"

I smiled lightly beneath the hood and said, "I think I have quiet the business with you."

He stared at me with confusion written on his face, "What are you talking ab-"

I lifted off the hood and smiled at him, "Now you my friend have a very quick temper and your patience is just like her."

He froze while his face drained of any emotion and he shouted, "Everyone, leave us!"

Around us people quickly shuffled around and everyone left us until there were only him and me in the room staring at each other.

He got up and slowly walked towards me, "How is she?" he asked as his eyes sparked with different emotions like pain, guilt, hope and love.

I clamped my hand on his shoulder, "She is well, but we need to talk."

He nodded and motioned me to follow him as he led me to a room with swords and axes, "You're not planning on killing me right? What the hell, even she tried to kill me and YOU to!! Don't do this I jus-"
