At nine and a half months, Eric wasn't feeling well at all and he was four weeks past his due date but that day he was gonna get induced if he doesn't go into labor. He hums happily when Paul messages his back which has been hurting badly that day.
Paul rubs his back and kisses his cheek "how are you feeling?" He feels bad for his Fox because he wasn't feeling well enough to do anything
He looks at him and smiles "feeling a lot better but impatient to meet our son. At this moment I'm just exhausted and sore where I want him out today. Hopefully I can get induced later and get the labor going. I'm excited to have my dream which is the water birth that I always wanted to have."
Later on, they head to the hospital and Eric gets impatient when they check him over along with their son because he just wanted to be induced right away. He feels Paul kiss his head and smiles happily. Soon he sees the doctor come in and clears him for to start labor. He relaxes with his legs up while the doctor induces him and looks at his husband "here we go. He's gonna come" he gets emotional and sheds tears
Paul kisses him deeply and smiles happily "I'm excited to hold him" he wipes his tears
He sniffles and giggles "he's gonna be here in a few hours. I'm so excited to meet him" he rubs his belly
Paul calls their family and friends soon telling them that Eric was induced and the baby will be there in a few hours.
After an hour, Eric breathes deeply when he gets his first contraction "ah shit" he doesn't like the pain
Paul rubs his head and watches him "awesome job. I know it hurts but he's coming" he get excited and smiles happily
He sheds tears and nods "I'm so excited but scared. What if he doesn't make it or I don't" he calm down
Paul kisses him deeply "you guys will make it. He's full term now and he's super healthy. You will be okay honey. I'm proud of everything you do for us" he rubs his cheeks "now let's have a baby. He will be here before we know it"
When the contractions get stronger, Eric ends up on his hands and knees in really bad pain. He screams loud and groans when the doctor checks him
The doctor pulls away soon "he's moving at a good pace. You're four centimeters right now Eric"
He nods and relaxes while looking at his husband "I need water honey. Please"
Paul smiles and gets up to go get water. He gets water from the area that the midwife left for them if they needed water or something else. He come back and look at him "here we go sweetie"
Eric takes the cup and sips the water slowly. He lays down soon and rests between contractions soon waking up to their band family coming into the room
Gene smiles at them "hey guys, how are you doing" he looked excited about the baby
Bruce rubs his husband's back and smiles "hey. Wow you guys are about to be parents"
Eric rubs his belly gently and looks at it "yes we are. I'm so ready. I'm excited to hold our son in a few hours. I'm four centimeters already"
Ace walks in and goes to his friend soon hugging him "hey you might not remember Peter Criss from high school but this is Peter" he points at his friend who just joined them
Bruce and Gene look at Peter soon greeting him. Eric hugs Ace and smiles at everyone "thanks for coming guys and nice to meet you Peter"
Paul notices Gene isn't feeling well "hey how are you doing Gene"
Gene feels nauseous and runs to the bathroom in the room and throws up into the toilet
Bruce stands there and watches his husband "he's a little under the weather right now. Which is the reason why we came by today but I'll be back" he walks in the bathroom and pulls his husband's hair back "shhhh it's okay honey. I'm here"
Gene throws up more and groans softly when he feels better. Soon he gets up and cleans up "thanks honey, you're such a support" he walks back into the room. He smiles happily "I should probably leave because I have a stomach flu right now. Have fun guys and good luck with the baby"
Everyone talk with Paul and Eric but end up leaving after a while.
Paul rubs his head and looks at him "you are doing amazing my fox. Our StarFox is almost here and you will be able to hold him in your arms. I can't wait to see his little face and see who he looks like" he gets emotional and sheds tears
The doctor comes in soon and checks Eric again "you are doing amazing. You are five centimeters now Mr. Carr"
