We Are Home Finally

We finally got home and I watched our son sleep in his swing soon kissing Paul while he cooks for us "hey honey"

He kisses him back "hey sweetie, how are you feeling?" He rubs his sides

I smile and kiss him back soon wrapping my arms around him "tired and sore but very happy we have a baby"

He smirks "would you have more of our kids in the future?" He rubs his cheek gently and smiles happily

I loved the thought and nods "always for us. I love our son and let's wait for a while before I get pregnant again"

He plays with his curls and walks to their bed "let's watch a movie honey" he lays down and turns on a movie

I lay down in bed and feel comfortable while cuddling Paul "I love you so much and I feel lucky to have you." I watch the movie and enjoy time with him

He kisses his head and plays with his shirt "same honey. Sorry I can't resist you but I'll try to behave" he laughs and yawns softly

I look at him when Elijah cries and giggles "well that didn't take long" I sit up

He gets up and gets Elijah soon going to change him. He comes over with their son and sits on the bed soon rocking him to calm him down "there we go buddy"

(Bruce and Gene part)

I sat in bed that night after putting Daniel and Sophia to bed. I felt sick all day but ignored it because of being a parent and a good husband. The nausea was so bad and I had a pounding headache but just kept quiet about it so Gene wouldn't worry about me.

Gene walks in after cleaning up the kitchen due to dinner and knew something was wrong "babe you look horrible right now.... Do you want a message or bath?"

I look up and sighed "no honey.. I'll be okay for now but thanks anyways. It might be just nausea from eating no offense to your amazing cooking. My stomach just hates me today" I think and get out of the bed soon going to the bathroom. I look at the calendar and try to think when my last period was "ummm Gene....do you remember when my last period was?"

He looks up and tries to think "not sure sweetie....wait are you thinking of what I'm thinking?!"

I get emotional and start to sob " yes!" I get the pregnancy test and quickly take it. I wait and look at my husband and was excited. We have been trying for years and didn't have luck but now I was excited because the IVF might've worked when we got it. The twins were both eight years old and we were ready for another baby.

After a bit, I check the pregnancy test and started sobbing loudly while shaking and felt Gene hug me. He looks at the test and lifts him gently soon crying happily "we're having a baby!!!!"

(Time skip)

When my belly got bigger, I couldn't stop touching it along with Gene. I needed to tell the twins soon because they needed to know but we had waited due to us having miscarriages. I was three months along now and we were ready to tell the twins. We got the twins to come to our room soon having them sit near me on the bed

Daniel looks at his parents "what is it mama?" He gets nervous along with Sophia

I lift my shirt up and smile "why don't you take a guess guys. Feel mama's belly" I get emotional

Daniel and Sophia feel and Sophia gets excited soon yelling out "we're having a sister or brother!!!!!"

I cry happily "that's your sister or brother in my belly" I look at Gene and relax while the kids feel my belly. We were so glad that it went well with telling the kids because they have been wanting a sibling as much as me and Gene wanted another baby
