Explanation and Pops...

His eyes widened in realization, "Mr.Stark?", he asked, "Pops?", Tony asked while Steve laughed at these two.

Now

"Stop laughing Rogers", Tony said and Steve continued to laugh, "I am sorry honey", he said in between his laughs.

"Mr.Stark you really are awake", Peter said jumping into Tony's arms who was still in Steve's arms.

Therefore Peter collided into both of them making Tony smile, "Yes Underoos", he said ruffling Peter's hair who snuggled into both of them.

Steve smiled and moved a bit letting the mentor be with his son figure for some time, "Why did you do it?", Peter asked sniffling slightly.

"Aww don't cry bud, I did it for you", Tony said wiping his tears and Steve smiled and got up kissing the other two males forehead.

He took his lunch and sat on the bed, "Peter did you have your lunch?", he asked and Peter nodded.

"Pops why didn't you tell me that Mr.Stark was awake?", Peter asked and sat straight while Steve fed Tony and ate himself.

"Well Tony wanted an explanation first and you know how he is when he is stubborn", Steve said, "Hey", Tony called.

"Well you have some more explanations to go too", Tony said indicating them both while eating, "Ask away Mr.Stark", Peter said excited.

Steve chuckled at the excited teenager, "Ok", Tony took a deep breath, "Why did you call Steve pops? What is that language you just spoke? Isn't it Latin?  Why is Bucky uncle Bucky if I am correct about that word in Latin? Why did you bring Steve's lunch here?", Tony asked.

"Woah slow down sweetie, don't tire yourself", Steve said chuckling, "Ok first why is Steve pops? not that I am complaining", Tony said.

"Well when I visited you, pops was here and he would help me with my home works and we talk for some time before he goes to train so eventually we bonded and I started calling him pops", Peter explained.

"Not that I am jealous but I know you for a long time and you still call me Mr.Stark, I feel older than Steve now, which is over a century", Tony grumbled making the other two laugh.

"Oh is the great Tony Stark feeling old and jealous", Steve teased making Peter laugh harder, "Shut up Rogers", Tony warned but had a smile on his face.

"Ok so I can call you... uhm... dad if you want, considering you and pops are together", Peter said and Tony's face lit up.

"Yes you are calling me dad, that's better", Tony said happy with his accomplishment, Peter noticed the ring suddenly and gasped.

"You guys are engaged?", he asked and the other two nodded smiling, Peter jumped hugging them.

"I am making your wedding rings please please please please please", he said and the other two male laughed.

"Calm down Pete and ok you can make our wedding rings", Steve said, "Ok can I go tell the others uncle Clint probably would have lost the bet with aunt Nat", Peter said.

Tony's eyes widened at the mention of his sister like figure, "So Nat... she?", he asked and Steve nodded.

"How?", he continued, "That's why I said we have to go out for a full explanation", Steve said and turned towards Peter.

"I will explain the rest to your dad and we'll meet outside, gather everyone but don't tell them that Tony woke up or else all will rush here. It might take time", Steve said and Peter nodded going out.

"How long were you sitting here without moving out of the room?", Tony asked suspiciously and Steve sighed.

"Not long", Steve trailed not meeting his better half's eyes, "Look me in the eyes and tell me the truth Rogers", Tony growled.

Steve looked into Tony's eyes, "I...", he took a deep breath, "I never left the room except for training", Steve said.

Tony's eyes widened, "How many hours do you train a day?", he asked remembering it used to be three hours before.

"Tony", Steve started, "How many hours?", Tony asked again sitting straight, Steve held Tony's both hands and kissed them.

"Don't you even try", Tony said and Steve looked up innocently, "I know you more than you do Rogers and this won't help you to change the subject", Tony warned.

"1 hr", Steve mumbled, "Sorry?", Tony asked, "1 hr", Steve repeated again louder this time, "Are you fucking nuts Rogers?", Tony raised his voice.

"Language", Steve said only to receive a glare, "Don't you dare 'language' me now Rogers", Tony said tears welling up in his eyes.

"Honey please don't cry this is why I didn't tell", Steve said holding Tony, "Why did you waste three months of your time with me?", Tony asked crying.

"Oh honey, I didn't waste my time I spent them praying for the man I love more than anything in this whole world", Steve said wiping the younger man's tears.

Steve kissed Tony's forehead, "But Steve not only as a captain as a friend, as a father if that's what Peter started looking you as, as a brother you could've spent time with them and...", Tony said and paused.

"Who returned the stones?", he asked suddenly and Steve looked confused, "I did, why?", he asked.

"You didn't stay back", Tony pointed out and Steve got confused more, "What?", he asked and Tony sighed shaking his head.

"This is what Peter gets from you, Steve you didn't stay in your time with... with Peggy, your home", he said avoiding eye contact.

To say he was jealous was an understatement, Steve chuckled, "Oh honey, I told you already but I'll say it again you are my home, Peggy... well she was more of a best friend than love", Steve said and paused.

"I thought whatever I felt for Peggy was true love, but I realized that the feeling I had for her was nothing compared to what I felt for you when you fell through the worm hole. I honestly thought my heart had stopped, I felt it stop and that's when I realized losing you was my biggest fear and whatever I felt for you was love, true real love", Steve said.

"So I returned the stone, I had the dance with her and came back and since then I sat here, Natasha and Peter visited me daily, Peter spent time with me before I went for training so don't you dare feel guilty, when I should be the one to. I made you into this state", Steve said and Tony kissed shutting him up.

"I love you Steve Rogers", Tony said after breaking the kiss, "I love you too Tony Stark", the other whispered back.
