Christmas celebration and Surprise

"Now let's welcome the Avengers to the stage", said the host, and the avengers present went up and took their seats.

Now

"First off I would like to congratulate the two new couples on their marriage", the host said and Steve and Tony thanked her as they all clapped.

"Next is a huge thank you to you all for saving us, saving the universe", the host continued thanking as all the avengers present smiled.

"I know you aren't going to share any private things here, but to the Stark-Rogers are you planning on having kids or anything?", the host asked and Tony hesitated.

The most unlike-Tony thing as Steve noticed, saved Tony from the stuttering mess, "Well we have ideas, but we would very much keep it personal", Steve said kindly and the host nodded understanding their privacy.

"Ok so we know that for this war new avengers were joined to the previous six as years went by, especially spiderman", the host said and all nodded while Tony tensed and started fiddling with his dog tags, the action he does when he is scared or nervous.

His pregnancy hormones were making him tensed and nervous for no literal reason, he is the freaking Tony Stark-Rogers and he was freaking out.

"So will we get to know who spiderman is? What's his real identity?", the host continued and this time Nat saved Tony.

"Well we would tell you if he would have told us to and if spiderman wants to tell you guys who he really is he will", Nat said and Tony sighed breathing freely.

"Mr.Stark sorry Mr.Stark-Rogers, we heard that you are opening the avengers tower for school field trips is it true?", the host asked.

Steve who was noticing Tony's unusual nervousness from the start took Tony's hand, removing it from the dog tags into his, and interlocked their fingers.

All who saw this aww'ed, while Tony felt a wave of peace and sudden calmness in his mind, so he smiled at Steve and started answering more confidently, like the non-preg Tony Stark. 

"Well yes it is true, after nearly meeting my death...", Tony said and paused as Steve squeezed his hands.

"After nearly meeting my death I figured that everyone who is eager to learn needs to know what happens in some part of Stark industries, so therefore not all will be open in the tower but yes there will be some only for educational purposes", Tony said and all clapped louder than ever.

"Thank you", Tony said and the questions continued based on the avengers things and Stark industries related for the rest of the night.

As they reached home all bid bye and went to their rooms, while Steve checked up on Peter who was sound asleep.

He didn't go for the patrol, Steve smiled at that as he had particularly told Peter to not go today and the young brunette had obeyed his father.

Steve went to their room to see Tony looking out while changing his attire and Steve also started to change into his night clothes.

"Tony?", Steve called and Tony turned and looked at him, "Hmm?", Tony said making Steve more and more worried.

"What's wrong honey? You have been acting a bit weird the past week and today you were nervous, really nervous which you rarely are", Steve said and moved towards Tony and held his shoulders.

Tony tensed at those words and looked down not meeting his husband's eyes, he can't lie to Steve, that's why he had been acting weird and maybe avoiding Steve a little bit, but not as much as for Steve to notice.
