Wedding

~ 4 Months later ~

"Are you ok Stark?", Nat asked as Tony adjusted his bowtie in front of the mirror nervously, "Yah I am alright, I am Tony Stark", he said and turned towards her.

Nat raised her eyebrow and he gulped, she is an ex-spy she knows when you lie to her, "Ok I am not", he said and started pacing around the room.

"It's ok to be nervous Tony", she said and he looked at her, "What if this is all an illusion, where when I am going to marry Steve all vanishes?", he asked.

Nat looked at him incredulously, "You are the only person who will think like that Tony, I mean usually the bride goes 'What if he doesn't love me?' 'What if something happens?' 'What if I mess something up?'", she said acting like a terrified bride.

This made Tony smile and he chuckled, "Thank you Nat", he said and she smiled hugging him who hugged her back.

"You have always been there for me, as a friend and a sister, so thank you Nat", Tony said still hugging her.

She pulled back wiping her tears, "Ok that's enough, don't make me cry", she chuckled softly making Tony also chuckle and wipe his tears.

"I made the great assassin Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow cry", he said and she glared at him, "Ok", he said raising both his hands in surrender.

They heard a knock and Rhodey walked in with Pepper, "You look awesome man", he said and Pepper kissed his cheek.

"Congratulations Tony", she said and Tony smiled at his friend, "Thank you pep", he said and put on his suit.

~~ The other side ~~

"Woah calm down Steve", Sam said to a pacing Steve who was muttering under his breath, "Sam's right pal, you need to breath", Bucky said and Steve stopped.

"What if Tony decides he doesn't love me? What if I mess up my vow? What if...", Steve asked only to be stopped by Sam.

"Nope I am not going into what ifs and all", Sam said and Bucky hit his back head, "Ouch", Sam muttered since it was the metal arm.

"Steve I know you are nervous, but remember Tony loves you a lot, the way he looks at you is unlike anyone looks at their loved one. He trusts you and I know he will never decide such a stupid thing", Bucky said and Steve smiled.

"Thanks Buck", Steve said and Bucky smiled, "And about your vow, did you write it?", Sam asked and Steve shook his head no.

"I want to say what I feel which I am unable to write", Steve said nervously and Sam pat his back, "There you go", Sam said making Steve look confused.

"You love him, your love for him cannot be expressed by words, that is true love there, so don't worry you will know what to speak when you see him", Sam said and Steve smiled at him thankfully.

"Come on let's make a move", Bucky said and Steve nodded going with them, they went to the alter and Steve looked at the aisle waiting for Tony.

Nick was going to walk Tony down the aisle on Tony's request and Steve was very happy and proud about it.

~ Tony's side ~

"Dad come on it's time", Peter said popping into the room and stared, "Dad you look handsome", he said.

"Thank you Pete", Tony said smiling and hugged Peter who returned it hugging him tightly, "Ok we'll go in front and you come soon", the others said leaving Tony with Peter.

"I can't believe I am going to do this", Tony said and Peter smiled, "I know dad, you and pops are my everything and this is so special for me too", Peter said.

"I love you underoos", Tony said ruffling Peter's hair, "I love you too dad", Peter said, "As much as I love this, you need to make a move Stark", said Fury entering.

"I've missed you too Nick", Tony said sarcastically and Nick rolled his eye? Peter bid them bye and rushed out.

"I never thought I would see you like this Stark", Fury said pride in his eyes, "Well guess what? I too never thought I would see myself like this", Tony said.

"I am proud of you Stark, when you first became iron man, you were...", Fury paused thinking of a decent word.

"You were not responsible and a bit of an ass, then after you joined avengers and as if it was a miracle, you became the man I thought I will never see you as", Fury said.

"Today not only the world, but even I see you as my savior and our hero", Fury said and Tony smiled.

"When you made avengers, I first rejected joining it and later you persuaded me and I thank you for that because that is the best that ever happened in my life", Tony said.

"Even though Steve was not in relationship with me then, he took care of me more than my mother ever did, he made me stop drinking and made me the man I am today", Tony said and Nick smiled.

"I knew you were made for each other, come on let's go", he said and they went out, Tony taking a deep breath.

Tony walked down the aisle and his eyes met with a pair of blue ones which was looking back at him with so much love.

Nick gave his hand to Steve who took it and both looked into the eyes not knowing what was happening around.

"Your vows?", the priest said and Steve broke out of the trance but was still looking into Tony's eyes.

"Tony, when I first opened my eyes in this century I felt so lost I thought that the fate was playing games with me. But when I met you for the first time in the helicarrier, I immediately knew I have found my home and that I was not lost anymore. I fought the feeling by acting like I hated you and throwing mean comments at you, but I knew deep down, this was it, I was supposed to go down with that bomb that day. I love you and I can't simply express it with words, but I know that you know how much I mean these words and I will always love you no matter what," Steve paused to wipe Tony's tears and continued making Tony smile softly, "I know you might think that you have so many flaws and a dark past, but I admire those flaws, those are which makes you you and you are perfect for me in every way. If I had to choose between loving you and breathing, I would use my last breath to say I love you. I can't change the past, which also I love because it made you who you are today, but I will make sure to build a beautiful future for you, with you", Steve said.

His words were just flowing out without control and he understood what Sam meant, the words poured out as soon as he saw his love.
