You finally made it to the Gerudo Desert, having not been found out by anyone yet. Now all that was left was for you to find out how to get to Gerudo Town safely, seeing as you had to leave your horse at the stable just at the end of the trail through the highlands.

After leaving that stable, you continued through the last of the path, and then the entire Gerudo Desert became visible to you. You stopped to try and figure out a way to get through, realizing now that you couldn't get your hands on a sand seal from where you were now.

You made sure you had enough water, and that what you were wearing wouldn't be too much for the heat, and once you did that you made your way out across the sand. You figured that any Hyrulean soldiers wouldn't be able to get through this any better than you, so as long as they weren't too close, you'd be alright.

The Kara Kara Bazaar wasn't too far off sight, and you weren't out of water yet and you hadn't gotten too hot. If all went well, you'd be able to stop and rest for a bit before heading out towards the town itself, maybe even with the escort of a Gerudo soldier or two.

Your vision started to get blurry, and you tried to wave some of the dust out of your face, but you quickly realized that it wasn't just dust - you had managed to get yourself caught in a sandstorm. You started running, realizing it only caused more dust to interrupt your view.

The dust and wind started to slow your walk, too, so you stopped and looked around. All you could see was the thick sand circling you, and as you were looking around, you suddenly lost direction. You had no idea which way you were supposed to go now. Everything looked exactly the same with no indication of where you had originally been heading.

You decided your only option was to start walking just one way, and at least you'd wind up somewhere where you could figure out which direction was which. You tried to drink your water but ending up getting a bunch of sand in your mouth. You started coughing, and as you were trying to rid your lungs of the dust, you felt something against your foot.

Not leaving enough time for you to register it in your mind before you tripped over it and fell.

You laid there on your stomach, having dropped your water canister when you fell, watching it drain into the sand, just trying to gather enough strength to stand again. You groaned and coughed a bit more before setting your palms down on the ground, the feeling of tiny rocks and hot sand against them not pleasant, but it being the only way up so you went with it.

You managed to bring yourself to your feet, and the sand gave you just enough view to see your canister on the ground in front of you. You picked it up and closed it, knowing know you'd have to save whatever water was left in it and be careful about your usage.

You tried to keep going through the storm, but you found your legs growing weaker, and when you felt yourself trip over something else, that was it for you.
