"Astor..." You managed, resting your head on his lap as he finished his drink. You had finished dinner nearly an hour ago, and afterwards the pair of you had drinks. You reached down and placed your hand on your stomach, not knowing how to get rid of the pain.
"Yes my queen?" He asked, starting to stroke your hair, causing it to fall in your face. You tried to take deep breaths, hoping it would ease the discomfort. You grabbed his hand and held it close to you, wincing a bit as another cramp hit you.
"I don't feel good." You whined, groaning as he placed his hand where yours was. "Everything feels sore." You knew something wasn't right as the pain started to spread through your entire body, not just in your stomach anymore.
"Shh, you're alright my darling." Astor whispered, leaning over to kiss the tip of your ear. "You just had a bit much to eat. Maybe the mixture of food wasn't right." He felt your head, looking down at you with a frown. "You should just rest. I'll take you upstairs when I'm finished."
"Okay." You nodded and curled into a ball, head still on his thigh. The feeling of him kissing your ear calmed you a bit, so you turned over and reached up to place your hands on his cheeks, wanting to feel his lips against yours despertely. You pulled yourself up to reach him, but as you got close enough, he placed a finger on your lips.
"Hush now, dear. You shouldn't be straining your strength when you're tired." He had you lay your head back down, and you groaned again as pain struck your body again. "Just calm down and relax. You're going to be just fine, my queen."
"It hurts so bad." You wrapped your arms around his waist, and he only continued to soothe you. "I think something's wrong."
"_____, honey, you're just tired and ate some weird food, alright? Trust me, it's never pleasant." You sighed, knowing you had no choice but to believe what he was saying. "Like I said, when I'm finished, I'll take you back to the room and you can get some rest. You'll feel better afterwards, I promise."

"Mother," Rhoam started as he walked into Zelda's room. "Where is _____? Have you seen her?" He asked, and his mother opened her eyes a bit, rocking slowly in the chair beside the sleeping princess's bed.
"She told me she was going to train with 'Urbosu' I think it was? I didn't want to alert you while you were on your trip, but I think you need to keep an eye on your wife. She seemed awfully excited to leave to meet with him." She said, and Rhoam sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Urbosa, is her name. And they go out all the time, they're close friends." Rhoam looked out the window towards the highlands. "I'd like her home though, so can you stay with Zelda just a while longer while I run out with some guards to get her."
"Very well. I'll have you know, I think that girl isn't very trustworthy though." She shrugged, closing her eyes again and leaning back, causing the chair to rock again. Rhoam shot her a glare before leaving to get his guards.
"Guards! We have to go out and find _____. She's off at the Gerudo Town again, and I need her home so we can discuss our plan to invade the Yiga Clan and rid it of it's prophet." Rhoam led his group downstairs to the stable so everyone could get their horses and head off to the town where you supposedly had been all day.

"_____, stop whining so much." Astor said as he sipped his drink. It bothered you to see him finishing so slowly while you were laying there in pain. "Have a little patience and you'll feel better soon."
"But-" He hushed you, staring down into his glass, and you gripped his cloak as it now felt like a knife was stabbing into your stomach.
"Oh dear, you're quite red. Maybe you're coming down with a fever." He felt your head again, and you groaned, not feeling a sore throat or having any issues with your nose, rather just your skin was burning and you started to feel nauseous.
"Astor, I really... really... don't feel good..." You moaned as he moved you, gripping your waist. "Do something..."
"My dear, I wouldn't know what to do. I know nothing about hylian illness." He forced you to look up at him, and you immediately started coughing. Choking on something. "Calm down, you are quite the drama queen."
"I-I'm serious, something isn't ri-" You started coughing again, and you couldn't get yourself to stop for a long time. Too long of a time to just be a coughing fit.
"Deep breaths." You felt significantly weaker afterwards, and everything started to spin around you. Your vision got blurry, and your senses began to fade away. "Deep breaths."
"A-Astor..." You managed to say as your voice went hoarse and raspy. He looked down at you, and all you could see was a blurry image of him frowning down at you with a pink glow to his face. You weakly reached up for him, and he held your hand. You squeezed it with all of the strength you had left. "I-I love you..."
"You're alright, sweetling." He leaned down to place a soft kiss to your forehead, causing the rest of your pain to go away. "Rest now." The rest of the feeling in your body left, closely following the pain. A new kind of exhaustion - one that became the only thing you could feel as the rest of your body shut down - was pulling you into sleep. You couldn't fight it off as it overpowered the last of your strength.
He listened with a deep, sharp feeling cutting through his heart, as you took your final breath. You went completely limp, and your hand slid out of his grip. He set it down carefully next to you, placing his hand on your shoulder.
"That's it, darling. That's it. You'll feel better when you wake up." He started humming to himself, rubbing up and down your arm slowly. He didn't know what to do, what to think or what to feel. He just knew he completed his first goal.
He downed the last of his drink before setting the glass down and moving slightly. He slipped his arms under you and lifted your lifeless body up, before taking you upstairs.
He set you down on the bed, tucking you in as he would normally. For that moment he could accept what just happened. Little did he know this was just the frustration and satisfaction working together to create that deviously heartless happiness.
He knew what Sooga would have done to you. He knew what Kohga would have done to you. He knew what Rhoam would have done to him if he let you go home. He wanted to be the one to say goodbye first.
Little did he know...
