After Tommy went home, Phil felt a bit bad.

He hadn't meant any harm, really, he just didn't get it . Truth be told, Phil had only been to the worst parts of the city once or twice. Even once he was a hero he had been reserved to defending what he thought mattered, the heart of the city.

Philza grew up wealthy, by two parents who fed him, although saying they cared would've been a stretch.

He didn't know what it was like in the depths of the city.

Phil sighed and hung his hat on the back of the chair he sat on, rethinking his patrol patterns. He held different colored pens to outline parts of the city. Yellow would be Wilburs patrol area, which was circled around districts eight and nine instead of the normal district two. Pink for Techno, who was to patrol the sixteenth. Phil knew Techno would be lurking around there anyway, what with his obsession with Boo. Phil had the green marker, which he held in his hand.

On one hand, he didn't want to leave the first district defenseless. He considered putting Bad or Skeppy in charge but he just wasn't sure. What if someone broke in and stole important weapons or information?

Phil put the cap on his pen, he could deal with his schedule later, he just had to inform his sons about the change.

Tonight was a special night, Tommy got his first paycheck.

The first thing the bench boys did was do a much-needed shopping run, grabbing more of a variety of food than normal, AND tonight they would be able to eat out. They didn't plan on going anywhere fancy, just a small diner by the apartment, but it was nice.

Tubbo thought about how this could change their futures. Maybe if he was experienced enough with his technology stuff, he could get a job too. Of course, he'd have to have way different hours than Ranboo and Tommy (Someone had to be home at all times for Micheal after all.) but still, it could propel them even closer to getting out of this dump.

Tubbo wondered what they'd do once they left.

Tubbo was pulled out of his thoughts when the waiter showed up at the table.

They all ordered their food, nothing much, even if they had more money they still couldn't afford to spend that much just for a night out.

"We did it, boys," Tommy said as the waiter walked off. "I reckon with this you two will be out of debt in no time!"

"Our debt. You live with us now, you get to take the debt too."

Tommys smile faltered. "I don't think that's how it works big man."

"It is now" Ranboo handed Micheal a bread roll from the basket (Yes, they were eating at a restaurant with bread rolls!! ) "Besides you get paid like, twice as much as I do. You're going to be paying off most of our debt."
