The first thing Tommy did upon getting back to the bakery was organize a place for Tubbo and Ranboo to meet him. He almost couldn't believe he'd lied to Wilbur about that, and the more time passed, the more it dawned on him how much he could not keep this lie. There were several problems with it.
One, Tommy was very unathletic. If they asked him to fight he would be shit out of luck. Two, Tommy didn't have any powers, but Ranboo did. Ranboo could teleport and he was allergic to water, two things that Tommy was not. Three, Ranboo and Tommy had very different very pressing matters to attend to. Ranboo had a city to defend and Tommy had Dream to run from. He'd also have to warn them about Dream.
Tommy sat at the bench in the park with his hood up, and he was waiting for Tubbo and Ranboo. The park would have been nice if Tommy wasn't here to admit the biggest fuck up of his life. It was nice out, not a cloud in the sky and the sun felt nice. There was a small pond where ducks swam inside. Children were feeding them grapes. The bench Tommy sat on was surrounded by flowers, with a tree hanging overhead. Tommy wished he knew what kind of flowers they were.
Tubbo and Ranboo sat down next to him and they talked for a bit. Tommy told them about Dream and what he'd done to him, Ranboo talked about how he fell ill after spending so many sleepless nights looking for Tommy. They were together again though so everything was okay. Maybe things wouldn't remain okay, but it was alright for now and that's all that mattered.
"So why Puffy and Niki's? You could just stay with us, bossman."
"Dream might be looking for me, and he knows where you live. You guys need to be careful. Dream claims that he "loves"" Tommy did the air quotes "me and he was willing to break my arm. I don't think any of us want to know what he'd do to you two."
"Why don't you just tell the heroes. You literally work for them." Ranboo said, he held a dandelion in his hands, twisting the stem in his fingers.
"About that. He asked if I was Boo, like Ranboos vigilante name, Boo. I said yes."
Tubbo and Ranboo reacted immediately.
"What the fuck?? Are you out of your mind?!"
"That was just really not a good idea at all actually. That's like really bad."
"Well I didn't want to talk about Dream, and I wanted to keep Boob boy here from getting arrested." Tommy reasoned, despite being more than aware that this was a stupid idea.
"That's nice, but what are you going to do when they ask you to fight something and you can barely throw a punch?" Tubbo said, ever the realist of the group.
"I'll have you know I'm a big man with all the muscle in the world." Tommy crossed his arms.
"That is just not true at all." Ranboo dropped the flower. "Maybe you can get out of them asking you to fight because of your arm, but what if they ask you to teleport?"
Tubbo came to a realization. "Your fucking arm, Tommy! Ranboo doesn't have a broken arm!"
