"So, are we gonna get going soon?" I question Katara, she simply waves me off before walking over to her brother. "Hey, Sokka. Is Jet back?" She asks holding something behind her back.

"Yeah, he's back. But we're leaving." He responded.

"But I made him this hat." She complains, revealing a hideous hat made of leaves. 'Maybe it's a good thing she doesn't give that to anyone.'

"Your boyfriend Jet's a thug." Sokka says, clearly frustrated. Something must have happened when they went out. "What?! No, he's not."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he is one." I shrug, Chip chirps in agreement from my shoulder. Katara glares at me before she turns back to her brother as he continues. "He's messed up, Katara."

"He's not messed up!" Aang defends Jet. "He's just got a different way of life. A really fun way of life"

"He beat and robbed an old man."

"He, WHAT?!" I explode. "Where is that little shit!" I stomp off, ready to cave in Jet's face. 'Ain't no one gets to beat up old people and get away with it!' My anger only grows when I see the confident little shit chewing on his dumb grass. "So, you think hurting old people is a good pass time, huh?" I question, poking his chest aggressively.

"Kim, calm down!" Katara shouts from behind me, once she gets to us, she puts her hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Katara, Sokka, and Aang standing behind me. We all turn to Jet as he speaks. "Sokka, you told them what happened, but you didn't mention that the guy was Fire Nation?"

"No, he conveniently left that part out." Katara say bitterly as she turns to her brother. My anger starts to bubble up again. "Who cares if he was Fire Nation, he was a defenseless old man!" I exclaim.

Ignoring my outburst, Sokka speaks. "Fine, so what if he was Fire Nation. He was a harmless civilian."

"He was an assassin." Jet pulls a dagger from... Where do these people get these things from? He stabs the dagger into a tree stump in front of him. "See, there's a compartment for poison in the knife." He unscrews the bottom of the hilt. "He was sent to eliminate me. You helped save my life, Sokka."

"I knew there was an explanation." Katara smiles, clearly glad that Jet didn't beat up an innocent old man.

"Let me see that." I snatch the small vile from tree leader. Inside of it is a cherry red liquid, unscrewing the lid, I smell it.

"Kim, what are you doing?" Aang questions worried. "Don't worry about it." I respond before putting the lid back on and walking to nowhere in particular with the vile in hand. "Fucking dumbass." I mutter as I hold out the vile before me. Rolling my eyes, stuffing the vile into my pocket, could be useful at some point.

"Kim." I turn towards the voice to see Sokka. "Can you help me pack our bags?" Giving a quick nod, I follow him to a hut on a tree platform.

As we are rolling up their sleeping bags, Sokka sighs. "Why doesn't Katara believe me?" He asks, turning to face me. 'Because she is a simp.'

"She is blinded by her crush on Jet." I shrug.

After another moment, Katara and Aang join us. "We can't leave now with the Fire Nation about to burn down a forest!" She states.

"I'm sorry, Katara." Sokka apologize, standing up and facing them. I on the other hand, continue packing. "Jet's very smooth, but we can't trust him."

"I agree with Sokka." I say without looking up at them.

"Well, you know what I think?" Katara snaps back. "You're jealous that he's a better warrior and a better leader." She then turns to me. "And you, Kim. You want the forest to burn down and civilians to die, or do you want to lead us into the hands of your Fire prince boyfriend." This hurt me.
