Chapter seven
Tossing a piece of popcorn across the room, it landed directly in Spencer's mouth, making me throw my head back in laughter as he did his little happy dance.
"Wait," I held a finger up, signalling to give me a minute, "what did she do after that?"
Chloe instantly let out a giggle, slapping her hand over her mouth, "Okay right, she was in tears then just sat there with a blank face. THEN her lips went all crippled and she said in a deep voice 'I'm gonna make her life a living hell'." She mimicked her.
"HAHA YEAH!" Spencer bent over, letting out breathless laughs that sounded like a kettle. "Spencer?" Chase tilted his head, giving him a rather concerning look.
"Yes?" he managed to blurt out. "Do you need a hand?" He offered, looking at us for backup with a mortified expression, possibly wondering why the fuck he just asked that.
"Oh!" I look at him in surprise, a small smile creeping up, "Who knew chase Kingsley was so helpful."
"I'm a true gentlemen," he gave me a small wink before turning back to Spencer who had finally calmed down.
"Not." He choke out, Chase's face turned and his jaw clenched, "don't make me regret offering to help you." Spencer only smiled, "I'm sure you already do."
"No shit." Was the only thing he said before turning straight round, Chloe and Cameron moved up a bit so Spencer had space, his way of getting on the couch.. was something.
As he landed in his space we all got scootched up to the side, I was now currently all squished up to fucking Chase.
"Well this is fucking friendly." I say awkwardly, playing with my fingers. I watched as his larger hand reached out, intertwining his fingers with mine. I opened my mouth to say something but he beat me first, "I don't like it when you do that."
So glad I didn't say something,
I only hummed in response before taking my hand back, turning towards Chloe and Cameron, "We should watch a movie." Spencer said.
"I'm picking, you lot either pick bad ones or really really bad ones." Cameron sat up, snatching the remote that was held in Spencer's hand.
"Hey, that last movie got me in tears, it was heartwarming." I frowned, Chase let out a soft chuckle behind me.
"Well that heartwarming feeling wasn't my type of heartwarming." He sneered, turning back to the tv.
