Chapter ten

It was the last lesson, and might I say I'm exhausted.

"Oh, Luke, you're late." The teacher frowned, raising her brows for his lateness.

"Sorry I'm late, forgot my timetable at home." He shrugged before walking over to my table, I moved my seat over a tad, giving him space to sit.

"Pathetic excuse, but it's the last lesson so I couldn't care more." She sighed before turning back to the bored.

I was preoccupied to learn but I couldn't ignore his intense stare from next to me. Giving in I turned my head, looking directly at him. I'm not going to deny the fact that he was pretty attractive.

"Your new, aren't you?" He assumed, nodding his head with squinted eyes.

"Mhm," I said blankly, looking back at the bored. He was still fucking staring.

"You're very pretty, what's your name?" He asked, mimicking my position while keeping eye contact. A small smile appeared n my lips as I looked back to the bored.

"Lily Reynolds." I breathed out, biting on my pen.

"Lily, " he repeated, "I love it."

"Thank you," I said simply.

"I'm Luke, just by the way." He nodded, sitting straight up and leaning back in his seat. "Yeah, I heard." I gave him a small glance.

"Luke banks." He smiled.

"I like it."

"Not love?" He pouted sarcastically.

"Oh shut it." I gave him a look, I was avoiding getting told off and this wasn't helping.

"We should be friends." He nodded, giving me a wide stare.

"Im sure we'd be great friends!" I said enthusiastically, with a hint of sarcasm.

He frowned, "You're just saying that, aren't you."

"I don't want to be rude?" I said in a 'duh' tone.

"You got a boyfriend?"

"Oh my god," I said tiredly, "You said you wanted to be friends?"

"I do, I was just asking if you had one?" Oh this boy.

"Yeah well I don't." I smiled awkwardly.

"Okay, and why not?"

I sighed, "Because I don't need one. Not every girl needs a man to control her doings."

"Oh yeah, we need to be friends." He nodded acceptingly.

"You're glad I don't have one?" I frown.

"Yeah, because your totally right. I love a women who's capable by herself, so fierce and brave, an absolute queen I say." Oh yeah.

"Maybe your not so bad?" I said in disbelief. "You thought I was bad?" He gasped dramatically, holding his hand over his chest.
