Chapter 15

Annie leant against Mikasa's desk in her office buttoning up her own white shirt staring at Mikasa's shirt which was still discarded on the floor. The office was a mess, with files and stationary strewn over the carpet from the earlier action of Mikasa abruptly pushing all of the work off her desk to give Annie space to lay down while she crawled on top of her, both of their faces flushed and red in between kisses and awkward laughs.

'That was the last time' Annie firmly stated as she threw her blazer back on 'it can't happen again'

'Yeah I understand' Mikasa nodded, laying shirtless on the couch in her office sweating 'it would not be a good idea to do anything like that again'

This was their fourth 'last time' this week, they always promised they would split after but someone always got lonely and came back. Its not like Annie didn't enjoy their time together but she knew this was probably the worst idea she'd had in her life, she knew this morning she shouldn't have responded when Mikasa told her to come to her office, she knew she should have said no and they're over but her impulse control had been bad lately, next time she would definitely set boundaries and be stern- although she told herself that the time before as well.

'So are you going to help me clean up?' Mikasa asked, crawling on her floor trying to find her shirt

'Sorry, I can't, I have lunch with Mina'

'Oh then have fun, where are you going?'

'We're going to a pizza place' Annie smiled excited for later 'we've been getting more serious lately, I think we might make it official soon'

'Well then this definitely has to end'

'Mhm'

Mikasa walked up to Annie, unable to find her shirt, she wrapped her arms around her waist pulling her closer and started kissing her lips lightly, enjoying the taste of their mixed lipstick and saliva.

'Mikasa...'

'One more round? I promise it won't take too long' Mikasa pouted with a gleam in her eye 'you just look so cute in your suit I cant resist'

'I suppose I can be ten minutes late..' Annie smirked while Mikasa's hit the sweet spot on her neck, she made a mental note to never let this happen again but whats one more time to say goodbye?

'Mina I'm so sorry' Annie apologised out of breath as she sat down at the table Mina was sitting at. Her top buttons were still undone and her hair was out of place- she looked like a mess.

'Where have you been? You're a hour late' Mina scolded, at first she looked worried but as soon as Annie sat down her expression shifted into something more irritated.

'I overslept'

'Its literally 2pm'

'I know, I stayed up until the early hours completing work and forgot to set my alarm' Annie leant over to Mina and gave her a quick kiss over the table 'forgive me?'

'Sure, lets just order, I'm starving'

Annie sighed, she felt too guilty sitting here lying to Mina but it was for the best, her and Mikasa were finished now. From now on Mina was her main focus, she would be the only girl she would even think about touching; she flinched at that thought, thinking that felt wrong.

As Mina ordered food she felt her phone buzz in her pocket, her brow furrowed as soon as she saw the message.

Mikasa: Hows your date going?

Annie: She's mad at me and its your fault.

Mikasa: What excuse did you come up with this time?
