A/N hey! I hope you enjoy this, this part does include her parents abandoning her so slight TW on that..!

My life changed a lot that week, and not for the better.

I was a little girl when my parents went on a huge business trip to the US. I didn't think anything of it given I was so little I couldn't comprehend what would really happen. I was always told they died in a plain crash on the way there. I don't believe that at all. I wanted answers. I needed to know why they left so suddenly, they couldn't have been just doctors. I always had a feeling they where something more than that. That feeling in question only came in later when I was about 11. I kept asking my aunt and uncle about them. But they'd just say they were loving doctors who wanted the best for their little girl. Is the best really abandoning your little girl at age seven? I kept that question in my head all my life without them. There has to be a different reason other than a "business trip" Right? Let me start from a few months before they left. A few months before my seventh birthday.

Mom was in the kitchen as usual, and dad was at work. I was in my play room when mother called me for lunch. I ran downstairs to the dining room. I loved her meals! The lunch in question was just a normal rice bowl with curry on the side. My favorite. Dad usually comes home for lunch, but this time he didn't. He called mom to tell her he won't be by. She was a little upset at that, but then turned on her "happy" face for me. I was only six when this happened. She turned to me and sweetly said,

"I'm sorry Ollie, but daddy's not coming home for lunch this time. But he will tomorrow!" Her voice, as a remember, was so sweet you could get a cavity just from listening to her.

"Awhhh!" I whined. "But he always comes home!" She looked at me as if she was trying to calm a horse.

"I know sweetie, but don't worry. He'll be here tonight for dinner!" She cooed.

I ate the rest of my lunch, and ran back upstairs to continue playing.

Before I knew it he came home. I heard our front door chime and that was my cue. I sprinted down the stairs yelling his name.

"Daddy! Daddy! You're home!!" I gave him a big hug, around his legs ofcourse, I was only 3 feet tall.

He bent down and returned the embrace. "Hey squirt! How's my little girl?" His voice was as smooth as dark chocolate.

He started tickling me and I fell down. My lungs hurt from how hard I was laughing. He stopped and picked me up when mother walked in, he gave her a kiss. I almost puked right then and there.

"Ewww gross!" I shouted.

They laughed it off, and mother said,

"aw, some day sweetie you'll find someone you'll kiss like we do." I stuck my tongue out at that.

"Maybe someday you'll have a loving husband like me and you'll be just like us!" Father spat.

I hid my face, I was grossed out. "No! I don't wanna kiss a stinky boy!" I mumble shouted into my hands. They just laughed again. I was such a naive girl back then.

***

It was now bedtime, I remember I always used to love it. Mother and father would read me my favorite stories and then I'd fall asleep. My mom was alone for story time this time. I didn't care, I thought she could still do the different voices they always do. And she did! That was my favorite about story time. They would take turns reading the dialog in different voices. Father was always the males and mother was the females. But sometimes they'd switch up on me. They made it fun. I was tired from playing all day and the story, so I almost fell asleep right away.
