Manipulation isn't as clear as I thought it was.

My aunt is out of rehab now. After four painful years, she's still a drunk. Well, that's half my life savings down the drain. I could've used that for my next semester or even next year! I've spent so much money on her I've forgot the amount. As much as I do love her, I just can't help her if she won't help herself. How is she gonna expect me to be the care taker of her? She was supposed to be the legal guardian of me. The only good news I've received this week was that I can finally start my new semester! I'm so excited, I know half of the teachers there because of my parents. I chose to go to the college they did so I could fulfill my life long dream, Being just like mother and father.

And the first step to that is the school they went to ofcourse! I requested to only be put in their teacher's classes this year. I want to get to know them, that's another step. I'm thinking about staying in a dorm. It'll cost more yes, but it means I'll finally get out of this hell hole. Right?

"Aunty! Guess what!" I shouted as I walked in.

She sat up from her sitting position, and looked at me. "What is it? I don't have all damn night child!" She spat I'm pretty sure her dentures almost flew out.

I sat next to her with the brightest smile on my face. My aunt and uncle always used to say my smile is just like my mother's. I see it now.

"Wipe that stupid cheeky smile off your poor face." She groned.

"Alright, I'll just get straight to the point," I begain. I could tell she was loosing her patents with me. "I just got an email yesterday, I can officially move in my dorm and start my new semester!" My voice was so energetic she physically cringed.

"And what does that mean for me?" She asked.

I looked at her with a confused face. "Huh? What do you mean?" I finally asked.

She looked at me as if I was stupid. "You stupid child, what am I supposed to do while you're gone wasting your life away at that cursed school?!" She screemed. I flinched away from her spit.

"Aunty, you can just do what you usually do here? Why does it have to change when I leave?" I asked a little upset she's still thinking of herself.

She shaped me across my face. Ow, now my face burns. "You really are stupid!" She yelled. I stood up and backed away from her, afraid she'd start hitting. "I don't want to be here all alone! I need you dear!" Her voice was horse. She sounded like she was about to cry.

"You need me now?" I asked calmly, Still standing a good distance away.

"I've always needed you idiot! Now you're going to go off and leave me. just like your father and uncle!!" She put her hands to her face and started weeping.

I was shocked, I didn't know what to do. Do I start crying? Or go and consul her?

I walked a bit forward, and she started speaking again, well screaming. "You're so ungrateful! You're just a little brat you know it?! You should be the one dead not your parents! They deserve to live not you!"

My legs buckled. My eyes started watering, and my face grew hot out of anger. Who is she to be saying this to me? It's not like SHE was the one taking care of me. My uncle and myself did. Not that low life.
