That night, Wilbur's terror-stricken expression haunted Tommy. Only a couple of hours before they had been laughing and conversing together. Now he was dead, and so was Phil.

What did they do to deserve this?
What did he do to deserve it?

Tommy's plan to talk to them during the night for comfort had cracked into pieces. He was left exhausted and scared, yet unable to rest.

He wanted to get up, to go and comfort Techno or hang out with Ranboo and Tubbo, but he was petrified. Somebody poisoned one of those ice cubes, and they were still in the game. A murderer was hiding amongst them.

Tommy awoke the next morning to a pounding knock on his door. He yawned and got up, opening it to see Fundy, Nikki, and Jack. Fundy had a band-aid on his cheek and a pink flower in his short, ginger hair. He was also wearing the suit - presumably given to him by Schlatt. Tommy didn't bother to ask about the odd combination of accessories.

Jack smirked a bit when he looked down at Tommy, noticing his appearance. "Did you just wake up?" he asked, his eyes narrowing. Nikki giggled slightly from next to him, rushing forward and trying to pull down some random strands from Tommy's hair that had gone wild. It was a failure, as they just rose back up in the air again. His hair was often annoying in mornings.

Tommy looked down at his shirt. He hadn't brushed his hair yet, nor changed from his lemonade stained shirt.  "Yeah, how could you tell?" Tommy responded sarcastically, too exhausted from his lack of sleep to crack a smile.

His morning voice was raspy, and his eyes were still a bit puffed from crying the night before. He could see Fundy and Nikkis concerned looks, but he was appreciative that Jack was being cheerful despite noticing. He didn't want sympathy, he wanted to forget.

"Not sure, just knew. I'm a genius," he chuckled. "Anyway- we were hoping you'd come to have breakfast with us. We want to all kind of-- try to return to normal. Or, well, make a plan for what we're gonna do. We wanted everybody to be there,"

Tommy glanced at the floor, gloomily. He didn't want to remember the day earlier. But for Wilbur's sake, he knew he had to agree. Wilbur would want him to stay positive. Phil too.

And the game wasn't over. No, it was nowhere near over. With two people dead, playing pretend is not what anybody needed. "Yeah, of course. Will be there in a bit, I need a shower," Tommy grimaced. The three nodded and walked away.

He took a deep breath and grabbed a hairbrush from his bathroom, before walking to the showers.

On the way there, he tried to pass Ranboo and Tubbo, who were leaning against a wall talking, but Tubbo stopped him.
