Lizzy pov
It was almost time for school and me and Manny were eating breakfast and Manny was drinking his third cup of coffee, I can't drink it because I hate the taste. Dad then walked in "let's go Kiddos, school time, oh and Gloria if maybe you want to hang out with the girls later, I can watch Lizzy and we can watch the football game or something." Dad says trying to be subtle about us watching the game tonight "that means they want to watch the football game." Manny says " I'm not talking to you, what are you doing Drinking coffee anyway, Lizzy doesn't drink coffee." Dad says "I'm Columbian, it's my culture." Manny says "really, what part of Columbia are those French toaster sticks from?" I ask pointing to his breakfast and I went to put my dish in the sink and grab my backpack "I'm ready for school" I say "Are you?" Dad asks and looks down at my feet and I see I forgot to put on shoes, I ran to my room and put on my red High tops to hear that our soccer will do badly if it was not for me to score the goals "you guys talking about how great I am, now I'm ready." I say and dad was going to have coffee but saw it was empty "how many of these did you have?" Dad asks "be easy on me, I have to climb a rope today" Manny says "so do I" I said in a song voice.
It was now recess time and I was hanging out with my friends, Jenny and Olivia, then I saw Manny and Luke arguing so I ran over to stop it "what is going on with you too?" I ask them "Manny keeps calling himself my uncle." Luke says "Because I am." Manny says "okay Luke Manny is technically your step-uncle just like I am your Aunt." I say "can you stop calling yourselves my uncle and aunt." Luke says shoving Manny and then Manny shoves Luke and they started fighting and I tried to separate them but they started pulling my hair and it was getting out of control and then a teacher came by and separated us and we were sent to the principal's office.
Our parents were called and we had to wait. Mom and Dad were the first to arrive and we were waiting for Claire and Phil. They arrived and were surprised to see mom and dad here as well "what are you guys doing here?" Claire asks "these three knuckleheads got into a fight with each other." Dad says "Thank goodness, I was ready to face Durkas." Phil says "So what happened?" Claire asks while sitting down "well apparently, there was name-calling and shoving and by the time the teacher separated them Luke was sitting on Mannys chest while pulling Elizabeth's hair." The principal says "Wait your Lukes father?" The principal asks "grandfather" dad says "and Manny's father is?" Principal asks "Javier, crazy guy that's where he gets his fire." Mom says "and Elizabeth mom is?" Principal asks "I am her stepmother but she calls me mom no matter what." Gloria says hugging me "her birth mom is dead." Claire says, real Subtle Claire thanks and there was a whole discussion on who was who parent and we got to the reason we were here "so Manny is-" Principal asks "I am his uncle." Manny says "And I'm his Aunt." I say "stop saying you guys are Aunt and Uncle." Luke says and we talked about how he was our nephew and we were toldd to sort it out at home and this is not how young people behave and were given a note to go back to class and we left and I talked behind the boys to make sure another fight did not break out.
It was after school and I was in the living room watching the game as it just started and the doorbell rang and the Dunphy's walked in and I was cancelling out the conversation but I called over to discuss something and Phil was on about what happened at school but dad hurried it up by asking in this family if we fighting each other or love each other and we answered love each other and I hurried back to watch the game and I was cancelling out everyone again
Alex then joined us and was saying something Haley then Cam and Mitchell walked in and we talked about CJ Hightower being out and then Illi got the ball and we were calling what play they will do and Cam called it and Mitchell said they should have tried Blitzing, Like that would have worked. (A/n: I know nothing about American football, so I can't say what they should do so those who do understand it make up what play they should do), it was now an ad and we went into the kitchen to get food and everyone was getting along and Manny and Luke were joking around until Luke said mom was a Coal digger and I was confused until Luke said that what Claire called her and I realised that it was meant to be Gold digger and I was shocked at that, mom didn't married dad because of his money they loved each other, mom walked out the kitchen and upstairs upset.
Gloria pov
So that's why I thought Claire never liked me because she thought I was a gold digger, is that how the rest of the family feels about me, is that how Lizzy feels about me, it now hurts more to think that how my own daughter sees me, I know that I am only her stepmother but we bonded and we have our moments together and now I think she thinks I'm only here for Jay's money, I then heard the door open and I saw Lizzy standing there "mom, you okay?" Lizzy asks "I'm fine, Princesa" I say and she walks in and hugs me "Lizzy, you think I am a gold digger, don't you?" I ask "I don't think that at all, I know how you and dad see each other and I see its love, true love." Lizzy says "Thank you Mi amor, You are the best daughter ever." I say "you're the best mom ever, stepmom or not, you will always be my mom." Lizzy says and we hug, then Claire knocks and comes in, I kiss Lizzy forehead and she leaves.
Lizzy pov
I was in the living room again enjoying the rest of the game, I then heard Claire and mom come down and Claire was going to jump in the pool to prove she was sorry, so we all went outside and Claire was trying to avoid jumping in but her reasoning was not working, so she jumped in and mom forgives her and then dad pushed mom in, then Phil in then, I pushed dad in and then I was pushed in by Luke and Manny then the rest of the family joins us, that was a fun night even with all the problems today.
I, Cam and Dad were watching the rest of the game and the guys were arguing about which player fumbled the ball and were doing that thing the players do while that's happening I just continued to watch the game
