Chapter Five

*Spencer's P.O.V*

Don't touch her," The voice yelled. I looked up to see Eleanor holding a gun to Anthony's temple. Soon Morgan backed away. I saw Lilly waking up a bit. "You don't know what I have been through. I lost someone I cared about."

"I know what it's like," I say. Eleanor turned her attention towards me. "I lost someone that I really did love. I thought I would never get over it. I also thought no one would get my pain. But I was wrong. There was somebody that knew what kind of pain I was going through. And now I am worried that I will lose her too. Eleanor, I know what it's like to feel lost, but in time you can find your way back. It does get better, but not in this way. Even though you lost someone and your regretting the mistakes you made last night, you can't just go and kill these innocent people. They have done nothing wrong, and so have you. You just have to forget and move on."

"How can I?" She asked me. She let go of Anthony, but still had the gun.

"That is what you have to figure out. It's different for everyone," I say.

Soon she puts the gun down and Morgan went over and put the handcuffs on her. I walked up to Lilly to see that she was waking up a bit. I untied her and helped her up. Hotch already called for a medic. I helped her out until one the medic's came and took her. They sat her down at the edge of the ambience car. She was fully awake now.

"Hey," J.J says coming up to me.

"Hey," I say.

"You know what she is doing, is for your safety," She says. I knew what she was walking about. The text that Lilly gotten.

"I know. I just, I just can't lose her the same way I lost Maeve," I say.

"You know, I think you have to make her tell the story of Adam. You'll understand after that," She says. She walks away. I known Lilly for over a year now and I haven't asked her what happen to Adam. I guess I never really thought about asking her that. I looked at Lilly and she gave me a small smile. I walked to the SUV, sitting in there waiting for the rest.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I was feeling a lot better. We were all at the hotel packing. The plane left in a couple hours. I was the only one in my hotel room until I heard the door open. I looked over to see Spencer walking in.

"Hey Spence," I say.

"Hey," He says. "Can we talk?" I set my stuff down on the ground and sat on the bed. He sat beside me. "I only read that text because I was worried about you."

"I know. I heard what you said. You didn't want to lose me, and I get it. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to lose you either," I say. He smiles.

"I guess we are both worried about each other," He says. I rested my head on his shoulder. "You know you don't have to hide anything from me. No matter what, I'll be here for you." I smile. I kissed his cheek and he blushes.

"I'm sorry I got mad. Like I said. I care about you too much to get hurt. That is what happen to Adam after all," I say.

"Can I ask you something?" Spencer asked me.

"Go ahead genius," I say.

"What did happen to Adam?" Spencer asked me. I took my head off his shoulder.

"J.J told you to ask me," I say. He nodded his head. I sighed. "Spencer. I do want to tell you, but not right now. Maybe when we get back." He kissed my forehead.

"That is fine with me," He says. I got up and picked up my duffel bag and packed the rest of my stuff.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

We were all on the jet heading back to Virginia. I was sitting on the couch and Spencer was down with his head on my lap. It was very quiet but it was nice. Soon Spencer got up.

"I am going to make a cup a coffee, you want one?" He asked me.

"No thanks Spence," I say. Before he left he pecked my lips and went to the coffee station. I lied on the couch. The other night I didn't get enough sleep. Soon I felt my eyes get heavier and heavier. Until I was fully asleep.

*Spencer's P.O.V*

I walked out of the coffee station to see Lilly sleeping. I smiled and took a seat across from J.J.

"Hey Spence," She says as I sat down. I took a sip of my coffee.

"Hey J.J," I say.

"I see you and Lilly patched things up. Did she tell you about Adam and what happen before she met us?" She asked me. I shook my head.

"She said when we get back, but how do you know?" I asked her. She looks at me.
"She told me a while back. Well I told her she had to tell me or else we wouldn't be friends," She says. I smile. "Spencer, I can always tell when something is bothering her, and when she got that text. She wanted to tell you. She didn't even have to tell me. I just knew. It's the same with the whole Adam situation. She wants to tell you, but she is scared of what you would really think of her." I looked at Lilly who was smiling in her sleep.

"I know what it's like to be afraid of your own mind, and I think if she tells me what is going on she will know it's real," I say. I looked at J.J, then back at Lilly. "But no matter what happens. I will be there for her. Even if it kills me."
