The Witches Party

Akko POV

I was really excited about the annual Witches magical tea party. According to Diana it's only reserved for some of the most famous Witches. But if it's only for famous Witches why didn't I get invited?

Diana was bringing me as her companion. She was in the bath room getting her blue dress on. I was wearing the same pink dress from Andrew's party.

"Akko could you come in her and help me tie up the back?" Asked Diana through the door

"Okay" I said entering the bathroom.

Diana was already dressed, only needing for the back to be tied up. I helped Lace up the back and Diana thanked me with a kiss. Diana and I have been living together for a few years now.

We practically moved in together when we graduated. I still haven't worked up the courage to ask her to marry me but this is it. I'm going to ask at the party.

"Akko, were going now." Said Diana gently holding my hand and walking me outside.

"So where is the annual Witches magical tea party taking place this year?" I asked

"The Principality of Eylstadt. It's a land locked country between Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There's actually a bit of magical history behind it." Explained Diana

"Do you think I'll, you know, fit in." Said Diana

"I've been to the party before trust me your invite probably got lost in the mail." Assured Diana

I just hope she's right about that. I got on the broom and cuddled up to Diana. I could've flown my own broom but this way was better in my opinion.

We lived in a cottage not far from the Cavendish Manor. Daryl gave it to us as a gift, in fact she's been giving Diana a lot of gifts. Diana explained to me she was trying to make up for how she treated her.

Using the Ley Line, it wasn't long before we were in Eylstadt.

"So where in Eylstadt is the tea party taking place?" I asked

"The royal palace." Answered Diana

"Wait we're going to meet royalty!?" I exclaimed

"Why yes, the witch hosting the event is married to the Queen Ortfiné." Explained Diana

Diana touched down at the palace entrance. A woman was at the entrance in a green dress. She was welcoming other witches into the palace.

As we approached the door, I could make out her features. She was blonde with violet eyes. The closer we got the clearer it was that she was taking youth potions, just how old was she really?

"Hello and welcome to the Eylstadt Royal Palace. I am Queen Ortfiné Frederika Von Eylstadt, but please, call me Finé." Said the woman shaking my hands.

"Uh, sure, nice to meet you Finé." I said trying to be polite.

"The tea party is in the garden. Just place your broom by the door." Said Finé

"Thank you Finé." Said Diana before taking me by the hand.

Diana placed her broom next to the many different brooms at the front door. There were a few I recognized, from different witches I know.

"Isn't that Amanda's broom?" I asked Diana pointing at one of the broomsticks.

"Yes, I had a feeling she would be here. Especially after the winning the Broomsticks Grand Prix." Said Diana

Oh, I forgot to congratulate her yesterday, this'll be the perfect chance to do so. We eventually found the garden, Witches were sat down at different tables with assorted teas. I got really nervous knowing that these were some of the most esteemed Witches in the community.
