Time Witch Love

The Cavendish part 1

Akko POV

I was making my way to Diana's room. The whole time I had this feeling that something really important was supposed to happen today. Oh well I'm sure Diana might be able to shed some light.

I opened the door only to be approached by Hannah and Barbara.

"Akko we tried to tell her to wait for you but she was so stubborn." Said Barbara

"You were supposed to be her at least half an hour ago." Said Hannah

"I'm sorry, what's going on?" I asked

Hannah and Barbara simultaneously face palmed.

"Diana is leaving!" Shouted Hannah and Barbara

"Oh, that's what was so important about today." I said to myself

I ran to the main tower hoping I wasn't too late. By the time I made it to the launch platform I was utterly exhausted.

"D-Diana *pant* wait!" I said between breaths.

Diana visibly flinched at my call.

"I should have known better then to try and go behind your back, Akko. I'm so very sorry for doing so." Said Diana turning around with a slight smile.

"Why didn't you tell me? I thought we were going to look after eachother?" I asked

"I'm not sure, perhaps a part of me wants to do this alone, another part of me didn't want to have to tell my aunt I was dating you. Either way it was wrong of me to do so. As you said we'll look after one another." Said Diana

She held out a hand, I smiled and took it. We both got on the broom together and with that we were off. As we flew I looked up at the moon, just one phase away from being a full moon.

"Akko, you told me last time you got hurt. Is there anyway we can avoid repeating such events?" Asked Diana

"I don't think we can. If we try to stop Daryl before you're taken by the snakes she might find another way to stop us." I explained

"I suppose it's unavoidable then. I wish there was another way." Said Diana

"Don't worry about it, I'd do it a hundred more times if it's for you." I assured her

"Thank you Akko, I love you."

"I love you too."

Diana POV

We arrived to the estate by night, using the secret back entrance. Anna was there to see us in.

"It's good to see you again Ms Cavendish, but I'm surprised you brought a friend with you." Said Anna

"It's good to see you too Anna, this is actually my girlfriend Atsuko Kagari or Akko as she prefers to be called." I explained

"Well this is even more surprising, come I'll explain everything that's been happening. Come along."

Anna lead us by lantern light and explained to me the financial ruin and how all the other servants had resigned. This wasn't much of a surprise to me, especially when Akko explained this day to me.

"I thought I felt a familiar presence." Said an all too familiar voice.

"I see you've returned to us Diana, and who might your friend be?" Said Aunt Daryl

"This is Atsuko Kagari she attends Luna Nova with me." I explained

"Oh, I know that name, it was mentioned in the letter that was sent to me and in the school newspaper Anna has subscribed to. I've never been familiar with oriental witches but you're very prevalent in the school newspaper." Said Aunt Daryl
