Akko POV
I woke up on the third day of summer break. Most of the students who weren't staying during the break had already left. Including Lotte and Sucy.
Yesterday
"Sucy don't leave! I need your help to patch things up with Diana!" I cried as she me along with her leg.
"Are you kidding, my mom would kill me if I don't go home. Patch it yourself." Said Sucy as she ripped her leg from my grip.
"How? Wait what if I told her the truth?!" I suggested
"Do you honestly think she'd believe you?" Asked Sucy
"Well no, she'd probably think I'm crazy." Muttered Akko
"Akko time travel is the kind of thing that puts you in a padded cell. Without you and Diana working together you won't be able to save the world." Explained Sucy
"That's all the more reason to help me!" I argued
"Forget it Akko, if I don't go home the end of the world will happen a lot earlier than expected." Said Sucy as she pulled her foot out of my grip.
Present
I sighed as I looked over to the Shining Rod. Things seemed to actually work between Diana and I. Despite the fact that she cast a spell right at me the first day.
"I thought you trusted me." I quoted with a sigh
Something that I worked so hard for last time. Diana's trust, if only I could turn back time and just say her performance was great. Wait a second I can, I just need to find the book on time travel.
I had plans to just stay in bed all summer but if I can fix the timeline I can spend it with Diana. When the library was in sight I also saw Diana. I got excited and tried waving to her but she just gave me the cold shoulder.
She's been doing this since the festival and it still hasn't changed. Barbara and Hannah were also upset with me. Apparently they could hear Diana crying from the other side of the bookshelf.
When they went to comfort her she gave them the cold shoulder. I never really knew how much it hurt Diana. But I was going to fix this and I'm going to fix it with magic.
When I entered the library I instantly went to the area I found it. However a quick look though the bookshelves and I came up with nothing.
"Looking for something Akko?" Said a familiar voice
I turned around to see Professor Ursula with the book in her hand. But judging by the look on her face she wasn't going to be giving it up.
"Hey Professor, that just so happens to be what I'm looking for." I said as I reached for the book.
Professor Ursula held it out of reach. "And what is it that you plan to do with it?"
"I'm going to turn back time to the festival and stop myself from ruining things with Diana." I explained
"Akko, time travel is not a solution, it just makes more problems. If you want to fix things with Diana you need to talk to her." Said Ursula
"But Professor she want even look at me let alone talk to me and believe me I've tried."
"From what you've told me about the future I'm sure you can figure this out without magic. I'm going to take this book with me and you will go fix your relationship with Diana." Said Professor Ursula as she walked off with the book in hand.
I sighed knowing this process was going to be a difficult one. I made my way to the cafeteria to get something to eat. Even though I was late I still got the best the menu had to offer.
