The Cavendish part 2

Diana POV

Arriving back to the estate I notice a limousine pull up to the front door.

"That should be Andrew and his father." Said Akko holding me from behind.

"Yes, just like you said." I acknowledged

We headed for the stables and who should be waiting for us.

"Akko it's good to see you again." Said Andrew

"Hey Andrew, how are you?" Asked Akko

"I've been fine, but I can tell your doing better. So how long have you two been dating?" Asked Andrew

I blushed and Akko choked.

"How did you know?" I asked

"Elementary my dear Diana, Lilies are a flower associated with the Japanese genre known as Yuri. Judging by the fact Diana is actually smiling I'd say she had a great time with Akko and enjoys having her around. My next clue was-"

"Anna told you didn't she." I stated

"I got an email from Anna informing me you were in a relationship with Akko." Admitted Andrew

Anna must have been excited that I was in a relationship and messaged the first person she knew could keep a secret.

"But that doesn't matter right now, it's good to know you've finally come out of your shell." Said Andrew

"What are you suggesting when you say shell?" I asked

"I mean you finally made friends and got a girlfriend. We were worried you would end up dating a book." Said Andrew

Akko tried to stifle a laugh at the book comment.

"Who is we?" I asked

"Anna and myself."

"Surely Anna wouldn't think that."

"Actually she was the one who suggested it." Explained Andrew

"Oh course it was Anna, that statement sounds too much like her to be said by anyone else." I said

"Really?" Asked Akko

"Being my pseudo mother figure she wanted me to make some friends. But I chose study over friendship and Anna has tried pushing me to making friends ever since." I explained

"To be honest I can imagine you marrying a book." Said Akko

With a wave of my wand Akko ended up in the nearby hay stack. I dismounted and helped Akko out of the hay stack.

"Ow, I think there was a needle in there." Complained Akko

"Then perhaps you should think before you say. Andrew, I know you mean well but I'll ask you to keep your nose out of my love life." I said

"I'm just glad you found happiness." Said Andrew

Akko POV

The evening proceeded as usual, the only difference during dinner was when Daryl explained she was trying to make money to buy shares in a Company called Blackwell Magic Branch. Sounds stupid, I don't think it'll take off. However something different has occurred.

Before the ritual began Daryl insisted I wait in Diana's room. When some time had past I went to leave, but the door wouldn't budge. But the door couldn't be locked, it only locks from the inside.

Even I could piece together that the door has been enchanted shut. I quickly looked for a way out, I looked out the window and saw Andrew walking by.

"Andrew." I tried to call, without raising suspicion.

I tried three more times before I gave up. I looked for something that could get his attention. I found something that would do the job, especially since it's empty.

I wrote a note, put it in the little box and threw it at Andrew.

"Ghak!"

Andrew fell face first onto the ground.

Andrew POV

I was walking around the estate when suddenly I was hit over the head by a hard object. When I came too I found a small box with a bit of paper sticking out. I opened the note to see some of the worst handwriting I had seen with several words misspelled and or crossed out.

"Andrew, its Akko. Im stuck in Diana's room by enchantament. Peas help, SOS, Mayday-" the note continued with other calls for help.

I looked up to see Akko looking at me.

"Are you alright?" Asked Akko

I gave her a thumbs up and proceeded to Diana's room.

Back to Akko POV

I hear the door open and see Andrew juggle a device.

"Disenchantment device, I had a feeling it'd come in handy." Said Andrew with a sense of pride.

"Quick we need to help Diana, she's in danger." I said before rushing past him.

Andrew followed me and helped me open the big door. Anna tried and failed to stop us and I saved the day. When I recovered from the snake attack, Diana started lecturing me on the importance of anti venom.

"I'm just glad you're ok." Finished Diana

"I'm glad you're ok too." I smiled

"Alright, shall we finish the ritual?" Diana asked

"Of course, Sybilladura Lelladybura!" The Shiny Rod became Shiny Balai.

The rest of the night proceeded as normal and Diana once again saved her Aunt and cousins rather than complete the ritual. When leaving I overheard a conversation between Andrew, Diana and Daryl.

"Rather than by shares in BMB I'd rather donate some magical artifacts for research at Chariot Magic Tech. With my niece's permission of course." Said Daryl

"I'm fine as long as they're treated with care." Said Diana

"Of course, they'll be treated with the utmost care. You'll have nothing to worry about." Assured Andrew

Daryl came up to me.

"I must admit, I was wrong about you. Despite your disruption, I can see why my niece chose you as a friend." Said Daryl

"Actually, Aunt Daryl, Akko isn't my friend, she's my girlfriend." Said Diana as she held my hand.

Daryl then proceeded to faint.

Croix POV

Today I finally determined two things. Akko has the Shiny Rod and she's a time traveler. I must adjust my plans to deal with this anomaly.

Authors notes:

One more chapter left, or if I need to split it into parts two chapters. Either way the story is nearly complete. Which saddens me but I must move onto other projects.

But if you think I'm done there your dead wrong. I have plans for a couple of bonus chapters one of which involving a wedding.
