~Eden's POV~
"Are you really still pouting right now, E?" Silas asked me on Wednesday night, after I'd just gotten home from work. I huffed and kicked off my white converse, sending him a dirty look. "I'm not pouting." I responded, ironically while sounding rather pouty. "But I still don't understand what makes you think I need to stay with Jagger. It's not like I haven't lived here by myself for a long period of time before."
Silas frowned at me from where he was sitting on the couch, standing to his feet. "I know you have, E, but never for this long on your own. You've never been here alone even close to a month, let alone two." He argued, scoffing. I went silent, knowing that I couldn't argue with that when he was right. Still, I didn't necessarily like the fact that he was right, so I just huffed. "Fine, then." I grumbled, crossing my arms over my chest. He cocked up a brow, giving me a frown. "Is this really that big of a deal, though? Are you mad at me for having to leave or do you just not want to stay with Jagger?" He asked, causing me to rapidly shake my head.
"No, no!" I exclaimed. "I'm not mad at you, and I don't have a problem with staying with him. It's just.. I kind of thought at first that maybe you didn't trust me to be here alone." I admitted, fiddling with the sleeves of my orange hoodie.
His eyebrows furrowed, frown still on his face. "You've never given me any reason not to trust you." He responded. "I just worry, so I want you to stay with Jagger, where I know you'll be safe, E." He told me with a sigh, walking over to me brfore he punched me playfully in the arm. I huffed and shot him a playful glare, looking up at him. "Whatever, Si." I said, laughing when he hauled me into a tight hug within his arms. "Let go of me!" I laughed out, kicking my legs in protest.
He just chuckled and set me onto my feet again, making me slip around in my socks slightly as I tried to steady myself. "Remember, you should bring plenty of your shit to his on Friday unless you feel like driving back here every week." Silas reminded me, ruffling my long black hair until it likely looked a mess on my head. I rolled my eyes and smoothed my hair back down using my hands, giving him a light nod of my head. "Don't worry, mom, I'll remember." I teased, picking up my shoes from the floor before I began down the hallway towards my bedroom.
I entered my room and shut the door, peeling off the hoodie I had on so I was left in my orange and white vertically striped pants with an orange tank top that I had tucked into my pants, the black belt around my waist keeping my clothes in place. For a little while I debated on whether or not I wanted to start to pack my stuff up since I was technically going to be leaving to Jagger's house in a little over a day, but I quickly decided against it and instead just got comfortable in my bed. Tomorrow, I told myself, in true procrastinator fashion. I'll just do it tomorrow.

The next day I got home at about eight PM after my shift had ended, quietly shutting the front door and locking it behind me. "There you are. I was wondering when you'd get home." Silas said, causing me to turn around.
"Sorry, the traffic was really bad today, for some reason." I told him with a huff, tossing my keys onto the table as I approached him in the living room. When I entered, I realized that Silas was sitting with Jagger on the couch, both of their heads turned towards me. I blinked when I spotted Jagger, not expecting him to be here. "But I see you have company, so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal." I added, brushing my fingers through my hair as I glanced from my brother to Jagger.
"Yeah, I suggested that he could just spend the night with us here since you'll be going to his house tomorrow anyway. Plus, he said had a movie he wanted to watch." Silas explained, pointing his thumb to the right, in the direction that Jagger was sitting. I nodded my head in understanding and kicked off my shoes, stretching my arms above my head with a sigh. "You want to join?" Si offered me, causing me to pause and bite on my bottom lip in contemplation. "I would, but I actually still need to start packing at least a few bags because I haven't done it at all yet." I responded, my gaze flicking back to Jagger again.
His gray eyes were already trained on me, causing our eyes to meet. "I can help you, if you like." Jagger offered when Si just shrugged his shoulders in response to what I'd said. I hesitated at first, looking at my brother again to see if maybe he had any input on that, but I could tell by the look on his face that he didn't seem to mind it.
"W-Well, I guess if you don't mind..." I said, trailing off as I flicked my eyes back to Jagger's. He shook his head and stood from the couch, rising to his towering height. "Wouldn't offer if I did." He told me, his large frame following behind me when I began to leave the living room. "We'll be back." Jagger noted to my brother on the way out, who just nodded his head and gave us a little wave over the back of the couch.
Jagger and I entered my bedroom, the door left open just because I felt a little less nervous with it open, not as on edge and flustered. "My bags are just there," I began, pointing to the four unpacked bags beside my dresser. "I guess you can start with my pajamas, and I'll work on getting stuff in the closet." I told him, watching him as he began to do exactly as I'd said once I told him the drawer my pajamas were all stored in. While he was packing up my pajamas, I moved onto my closet with one of the other bags and began to pack as many outfits into the bag as I could fit, huffing once it was finally full. I'd managed to fit far more clothes in it than I thought I would.
I exited the closet with my first packed bag in hand and set it on the floor, flicking my gaze to Jagger. He seemed to have finished packing my pajamas, but my jaw dropped when I saw the drawer that he had moved onto.
"H-Hey!" I squealed and rushed over as he held one of my thongs between two fingers, staring into my underwear drawer. He jerked back when I snatched it from him with a blush in my face, his grey eyes flicking to meet my green blue ones. "Uh, sorry." He said, taking a step away from me as he rubbed the back of his head. "I just thought I'd move onto this, since you were still packing in the closet. Wasn't perving or anything." He told me, looking away so as to avoid my gaze.
"That's okay." I responded shyly, shutting the drawer using my butt. I stuffed the thong into my bag and leaned back against my dresser, looking up at him through my lashes. "Just...not that drawer." I said softly. "Maybe you can pack my makeup and things instead. Right there, in my vanity." I told him, pointing to my vanity table as I bit my lip.
Jagger glanced at my vanity and nodded his head, taking the smaller makeup bag that I grabbed from atop my dresser and held out for him. He began to pack my makeup up for me, sometimes turning to me to ask what something was and if I'd need it before he'd continue on while I continued packing my undergarments myself.
Surprisingly, the packing went by rather quick due to the fact that the two of us were working together on it, and we somehow managed to finish within an hour. Once it was all packed, Jagger glanced down at me as I huffed and began to tie my long hair up in a bun on my head because I was now feeling a little hot. "Thanks for helping me, Jagger." I said, tilting my head back to glance up at him with a small smile. He just chuckled, his pretty eyes trailing over my face and down the length of my figure. "You already know it's no problem, birdie." He murmured, catching me off guard when he placed his hand on my lower back and nodded his head towards my bedroom door.
"Movie time, yeah?" He hummed, not moving his hand as we headed towards the door and I gave a weak nod of my head. "Y-Yeah." I whispered. "Movie time."
