-Being drunk
-Throwing up

George's POV

I was staring at Clay who struggled to walk away from class. I really didn't see him as the type of person to get drunk during a school day or just in general which kind of disappointed me. I found it stupid when people got drunk for no reason at all.

Quackity shrugged as he looked at Clay's friends. He leaned in to me. 'I think they just ditched him. They all seem drunk, but Clay is probably more sensitive to alcohol or he drank more.'

'That's kind of mean to let him be the only one with the problems now,' I whispered back.

Quackity nodded. 'But his friends are assholes so that's nothing new.'

I sat through the class in silence and stood up after that to go to the bathroom real quick before my next class started.

⚠️ Throwing up

I walked into the bathroom as I got startled by soft sobs and then a gagging sound.

⚠️ Over

'Hello? Are you okay?'

It was quiet for a little and then I heard someone sniff softly. 'N-no.'

I had no idea who was in there so I knocked on the door. 'Can you open it?'

I heard a soft click and the door opened itself. I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw Clay sitting down on his knees while he had tears in his eyes.

'I don't like being drunk,' he mumbled unclearly. 'I'm really nauseous and now they are going to tell my dad.'

I grabbed my water bottle and handed it to him as I noticed he had thrown up. I hadn't spoken to Clay in ages so I didn't know what to say at all. I was paralysed and just stared at him while he sobbed softly.

⚠️ Throwing up

'Hold on,' he mumbled as he turned back to the toilet, throwing up again. I looked away and took a deep breath.

⚠️ Over

'Why did you drink in the first place?' I asked him with a quiet and shy voice.

He shrugged. 'They told me to,' he whispered with a sigh, lifting himself up after flushing the toilet.

He walked to the sinks, holding himself so he wouldn't fall and drank some water after throwing some water on his face.

'I don't think it's a good idea if you go back to class,' I admitted as I looked at my hands because of the nerves. Luckily he wouldn't remember that we talked in an hour anyway, whatever I said wouldn't haunt me forever.

Clay sighed and looked in the mirror with an eye roll. 'I can't go home like this either,' he mumbled with a soft sigh.

'Is someone at home?' I asked him.

'Yes, I'm not going there,' Clay answered as he sighed again. 'I threw up very quickly after drinking so maybe I won't be too drunk for a long time.'

I nodded slowly. 'I have class honestly, but I can ask the teacher if I can already start looking for a book for the upcoming assignment when have to do. You can come with me to the library?'

'Okay,' Clay nodded slowly.

'Come, sit down here,' I demanded as I pointed to a bench outside of the toilets. 'I'm running to my class quickly, stay there.'

He just nodded and I ran off to my class, knocking on the door. My teacher looked up at me and frowned. 'Why so late, George?'

'Can I personally discuss that?' I asked since I didn't want the whole class to know I was with Clay while he was drunk.

She nodded and the class started talking as I walked to her desk.

'Can I maybe go to the library to get a book for the upcoming assignment? I finished my homework, you can check.'

I grabbed my notebook and handed it to her. She opened it and started searching for the right page as I noticed she saw some drawings I made of Clay and me in the past together. I cleared my throat as I looked away.

She didn't say anything and went to the right page, looking through my homework. 'Good job, but why are you too late?'

'I was helping someone who isn't feeling well and I'd like to stay with them for a little since they can't go home,' I mumbled.

'Oh, of course. Who isn't feeling well?'

'Uh- C-Clay,' I mumbled.

She smiled and nodded. 'Go to him, but I do want you to come back with a book. I'll give you the assignment so you can make a start. I made groups of four people, but the first half is personal for everyone.'

I nodded and grabbed the paper she handed me, looking at the questions I had to do alone. 'Oh, yeah. I can do those while I sit with Clay. I'll try to finish them all. Who am I grouped with?'

'Sapnap, Clay and Quackity,' my teacher answered as she looked down at her list.

'Okay,' I mumbled with a red face. I hadn't spoken to Clay in years after what happened and now I was sitting with him while he was drunk AND I got grouped up with him. This was going to be a hell of an assignment.

He was drunk now so he wouldn't remember too much of what I was saying to him, but he wouldn't be drunk during the assignment. Maybe he wouldn't remember what happened or maybe he ignored it just like I did.

'Thank you, miss. I'll make sure to finish this part before class is over. I'll ask Quackity for his notes after class.'

'That's totally fine. Good luck,' she answered with a smile.

I walked off again and ran back to the place I left Clay. He was still sitting down on the bench, leaning forwards with his eyes closed.

'Clay?' I quietly asked.

He lifted his head up and looked shocked. 'I'm sorry, I fell asleep.'

'It's fine,' I smiled. I didn't like that he was drunk and that we hadn't talked in ages, but I also had to admit that I loved being closer to him now.

'What do you have to do?' he mumbled.

'I have to look for a book and answer these questions before the class ends.'

Clay nodded slowly and stood up to walk with me. He was walking slowly so I waited for him and slowly walked with him at his speed.

We went to the library and I started looking around while Clay sat down at a table again. He rested his head on the table so I decided to leave him to sleep if he needed to.

I searched for a book and found an interesting one, sitting down close to Clay to answer the first questions. It appeared to be pretty easy so I finished them quickly, causing me to start reading after that while Clay most likely fell asleep again.
