Clay's POV
I woke up slowly, looking up at George who was sitting in front of me. Because I threw up a lot of alcohol, I was already feeling pretty sober again and smiled as I realised George was near me.
'Hi,' I mumbled. 'I feel way better now. I'm probably still drunk, but I feel decently sober.'
George was quieter than he was before I fell asleep and scratched his skin. 'It's probably uh- better for me to leave,' he whimpered as he stood up slowly.
'No, don't leave. Where are you going?' I asked him as he looked away with a red face.
'It's uh- just weird if I'm with you now. I'm sorry, I have to go,' he insisted.
'Why is that weird?' I questioned.
'Uh-,' George stuttered. He was bright red and grabbed his paper.
I stood up and laid my hand down on his shoulder, causing his face to get even more red than it already was. 'I'm so sorry,' he muttered as he turned around and ran off.
I frowned and just sat back down again, looking at George's book on the table. He forgot it so I grabbed it to put it in my bag, turning it around to read what it was about.
I stood up slowly after reading the summary, walking to my next class when the bell rang. I was sober enough for the teacher not to notice I drank before and sat down next to Sapnap with a grumpy face. I grabbed my book and slammed it on the table as I leaned back madly.
'What, dude?' he mumbled, obviously still drunk.
'You ditched me, dumbass. You could have just said you were drunk too,' I yelled at him. 'You're actually an asshole. Now I'm in trouble while you're just drunk in class.'
'Shouldn't have gotten drunk then,' Sapnap slurred.
'Dude, are you kidding me? I drank way less than you, just don't be such a dick. Do you realise how much trouble I'm going to get?' I exclaimed as I hit my hand on the table.
'Don't drink then, idiot,' he sighed.
I gave up and opened my book on the right page, signing loudly as I looked in it. I was so mad and disappointed in mostly Sapnap that my hands were shaking while I let out a deep breath.
'What page?' Sapnap slurred as he leaned over to look at my book.
'Look for yourself,' I scoffed as I pulled my book away.
'Dude, I'm drunk, just tell me.'
'Shouldn't have gotten drunk then,' I imitated him in a mocking tone.
'You're such a dick,' Sapnap yelled, looking away again.
'Don't ditch me and I'll not ditch you next time, idiot,' I hissed as I leaned against the wall.
'You're so moody, my goodness,' Sapnap continued the argument.
I decided to not talk back anymore and focused on the teacher who looked at me.
'Clay, I just got a note from your last teacher that you were drunk. I'd like you to leave my classroom.'
'Are you kidding me?' I yelled out. 'Dude, this is so unfair. I'm not even drunk anymore.'
'You can't be sober after a few hours,' my teacher argued.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag, putting my books in my bag. 'I look pretty sober, don't I?' I shouted as I stood up.
'You were drunk an hour ago. The principal has also gotten that note, he's going to talk to your parents,' my teacher told me.
I sighed loudly. 'You're so messed up. You can't just tell my parents without knowing their opinion on it.'
'They need to know,' the teacher stated.
'I hate you!' I yelled as I walked to the door, slamming it behind me.
The teacher came after me and opened the door again, grabbing my shoulders. 'You're going to the principal now! He'll decide a good punishment for you.'
'You're so messed up, I'm not the only drunk one and I'm sober again because I threw it all up,' I yelled out.
'Everyone else seems sober.'
'AND I DON'T?' I screamed. 'I don't think you get how many problems I'm going to get.'
'Then don't drink.'
I got so angry that I punched the wall and turned around to walk away. 'Die,' I hissed as I was far enough for the teacher not to hear me.
I walked to the principal's office since I didn't want to get into even more trouble and knocked on the door, walking inside.
'Clay, I heard some things.'
'Yeah, I got kicked out of class twice and the last time was really unnecessary and unfair!' I shouted as I sat down with a mad face. 'I'm not even drunk anymore and got kicked out without any reason.'
'Well, not without a reason, Clay. It's unacceptable to go to class while being drunk or to even drink at school. Where did you get that stuff from? Because you're sixteen, Clay.'
'From a friend,' I muttered. 'Just say what I have to do. I want to leave.'
'I'm going to call your dad,' the principal stated.
'No, you know how my dad is!' I yelled, but the principal shook his head.
'I have to call him. You'll also get four hours detention, you can plan those extra hours yourself. Then last, you'll have to do this assignment why you can't do things like this,' he said as he handed me a paper.
'Just because I was drunk, I have to do all of this? That's messed up,' I sighed.
The principal didn't answer as he grabbed the phone to call my dad. I nervously started to scratch my skin and let out a soft and shaky sigh. I knew what this meant, my dad wasn't going to be too happy with me at all.
'Hello sir, I'm calling for Clay. He came to class drunk today and we got startled because of that pretty badly. He has been sent away from two classes today and skipped another one so we have to call you about it,' he explained.
I wanted to cry and poked my nails into my skin as I tried to listen to the voices. I couldn't understand what my dad was saying and started bouncing my legs up and down out of fear.
'Understandable, thank you for listening, sir. Have a great rest of your day.'
He hung up and laid the phone back down.
'He told me that he's really sorry for your behaviour and he wants to talk to you when you get home.'
'Why are you like this? You could have done everything BUT calling my dad.'
'I could have suspended you, good sir. Now, make sure to never go to class while being drunk ever again, because next time I will actually suspend you for a few days,' he pointed out.
'Thank you for ruining my life,' I scoffed as I stood up and walked off.
