Clay's POV

After the bell rang, I quickly walked off from George. I was really happy after we hung out together. I used to do that just as long as it took for him to cry all his emotions out and feel more secure about himself.

I walked to my friend group since it was the break and they looked at me. 'And? Got any girls already?'

'No,' I murmured as I sat down, grabbing my lunchbox since I was really hungry.

'Pfft, not as popular as we expected you to be,' someone chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. 'I had class, idiot.'

'Just go up to someone now and see if you're still as popular then,' one of my friends laughed.

'Why? Can't I just eat my lunch?'

'I'm starting to think that you don't want to kiss a girl,' Sapnap grinned. 'Want to kiss a boy?'

I rolled my eyes since I hated that he acted so stupid the last few days. I just wanted to hang out with my previous best friend, nothing more. I still stood up and walked up to a girl.

'Hi,' I greeted her with a smile.

'Hi,' she replied with a red face, looking down at her lunchbox awkwardly. 'What's up?'

'Just wanted to tell you how pretty you are,' I flirted. I wished I had this confidence to talk to George about our past.

'Thank you,' she giggled with a shy look on her face.

I awkwardly leaned in and kissed her cheek, leaving her in shock. I smiled and turned around to walk back to my friends who frowned.

'That was everything? Just a kiss on her cheek?' one scoffed. 'I expected more of you, dude.'

'I'm not going to make out with a girl I don't like. She was really shy, what if she likes me? I'm not going to play with her heart.'

'You're such a pussy,' Sapnap sighed. 'Watch me.'

He stood up and walked to a different girl. I couldn't hear their conversation but after a while, Sapnap leaned in. The girl looked shocked and then pushed him away.

'Dude, get off me!' she yelled at him.

Sapnap held his hands in the air to apologise and then quickly walked back.

'Good job, idiot. You gave the poor girl a trauma. Be happy if you aren't getting accused of sexual harassment.'

Sapnap rolled his eyes. 'Fine, dumbass. You're still a pussy though. Just kissing someone on the cheek is not really kissing.'

'Okay mister I can't get any girls,' I mocked him, rolling my eyes. 'At least I kissed one.'

'Let's do it differently,' another boy added. 'What if you get one point for kissing someone's cheek, two points for kissing her lips and three points for just making out.'

'I'm not going to make out with someone for this stupid dare,' I scoffed. 'And I can tell you that you won't be able to. Girls just don't like dickheads like you.'

'Wait for it,' Sapnap replied. 'I'm going to kiss someone before you and I'll win this.'

'Congrats, I don't care. I'm not playing with someone's heart.'

'Another dare,' someone then said to me. 'Let someone of your own choice look through your phone for one minute.'

'No thanks,' I sighed. 'It's my phone and no one needs to touch that.'
