They both finished putting away the groceries, throwing away the empty bags.

"You didn't have to get stuff...I could've gotten up earlier or something." Parker mumbles, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Nah, you were sleeping like a baby when I woke up. Besides, I need to start waking up earlier..." Chester smiles, sitting down at the kitchen table.

"Huh? Why?" Parker asks, praying to any god out there that it didn't have anything to do with him.

"I'm going to apply for a part time job soon somewhere....since emails are going by slowly, we will probably run out of YouTube money in a few weeks.." Chester explains, resting his arms on the table.

"Oh! Well, that's great...but what about the whole....Narc situation?" Parker questions nervously.

"I've already talked to them about it. I'm trying to get an early morning kind of job so I can come home in time for Narc to do whatever they need to get done." Chester huffs at the thought of Narc letting another demon out from the gates of hell, only for them to be re-buried.

"Ah, okay...well what kind of job are you striving for?" Parker asks, tapping his fingertips on the table rather fast.

"Uhhh...do you think retail will kill my entire personality or no?" Chester laughs, making Parker laugh too.

"Dude, thats literally suicide! You'd never make it out alive!" Parker wheezes.

"Wow, thanks for the encouragement, asshole." Chester leans over the table to punch Parker's arm.

"Owww...it was a jokeee! I'm sure you'll do great wherever." Parker smiles.

Chester had the computer for most of the day due to job searching. That meant Parker was left alone, relaxing on his bed.

He quickly realized that there wasn't really much to do without Chester by his side. God, he needs more friends. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to befriend a few of those goop monsters at this point.

Actually, how many goop monsters WERE there? The graveyard must've had more ancestors if others were digging them back up, right?

God, he REALLY didn't want to watch a possessed Chester dig another grave up, no matter how weirdly hot it was, those corpses needed their privacy.

Unfortunately, he sort of has to suck it up, doesn't he? If it's truly Narc's job to do this for their people then....maybe he shouldn't get in the way.

He especially doesn't want to be around them when they go bat-shit crazy with an extreme hunger lust for human meat.
Look, he has his weird kinks, but being eaten alive wasn't one of them, alright?

Parker just needed to come up with a plan to keep both him and Chester safe from anything SUPER dangerous....but what could he possibly do to stop a demon from eating them one day?

"So yeah, could you maybe tell them that I would like to follow them around while they do their little...missions." Parker asks nervously, leaning against Chester's bedroom door.

"Uhm...I guess I could. Are you SURE you want to go through with this? I wouldn't know what kind of horrors you might see one night..." Chester mumbles, scrolling through something on the computer.

Parker needs to be sure of this, no matter if he's lying to himself or not.

"Yeah, I'm sure..." Parker sighs, bringing his hand back down onto the door handle.

"Alright, I'll leave you alone now." Parker smiles, closing the door.

Oh boy...things were truly going to get interesting tonight....
