Parker explained, well, everything he could...things still didn't feel real to him, even out of the dream world.

"Oh my god...Parker, I'm so sorry..." Chester whimpers, hugging him tighter, but still loose enough to allow oxygen into his lungs.

"I fucked hated that, dude....I never want to go back there ever again." Parker exhales gently into the others shoulder.

"I know you don't...but..." Chester stops his sentence, suddenly lost in thought.

"....Chester?" Parker mumbles, pulling away from the hug.

Chester's expression shifted from a warm smile to a concerned look rather quickly.
"Huh..." He mumbles quietly, furrowing his eyebrows.

"What? What's wrong?" Parker asks, fear creeping up his chest once more.

"Parker, what did dream me say again? You know, before you...woke up?" Chester mutters, anxiously looking back up at him.

"Uh...something about not facing you and being a coward...why do you ask?" Parker questions.

Chester starts to fidget with his hands, his eyes glancing around the room at a rapid pace, then back to his twitchy fingers.

"Do you...remember when I told you about that nightmare I had about Kacy? The one where she actually talked to me in the house?" Chester slowly asks.

"Yea? How could I forget? That night was horrible for the both of us!" Parker laughs dryly, but quickly going back to his serious voice when he doesn't hear Chester laughing along.

"Well, do you also remember what I said was written on the front door in blood?" Chester asks.

Parker raises an eyebrow, trying to think back to that horrendous night....but it seemed that his brain blocked most of the memories out.

"Uh...no." He whispers in response.

"So, uhm...the door said Come face me, coward." Chester mumbles.

Parker's eyes practically shoot out from their sockets, along with a gasp leaving his throat.
"WHAT?! DID IT REALLY?!"

Chester nods sadly, holding onto Parker's hand for comfort. "Yeah...I never knew what it meant but...maybe it's finally starting to come together?" He theorizes, squinting like he's trying to remember more information.

"Dude, that's crazy....but, what does all of this have to do with Kacy? Parker asks, narrowing his eyes.

"Maybe...nothing at all? I don't know, she was probably there at the wrong time and her presence caused me to completely bypass the message on the door...." Chester whispers to himself, though loud enough so Parker can hear.

"Damn, that sucks...but wait, does that mean those goop demons already knew about you before this whole Narc thing happened?" Parker mumbles, shooting his eyes back up at Chester's thinking expression.

"I'm...not sure....I'll ask Narc about it-"

"Don't." Parker stops him, his eyes finally meeting Chester's.

"What? But we need answers..." Chester deadpans.

"No, dude....I don't think we should tell them ANYTHING...haven't you noticed how fucked up things have gotten ever since you started going to them for answers?" Parker whispers, as if he talks too loud it might trigger Narc to appear.

"Huh...I guess your right...Narc might actually have something to do with all of this..." Chester mutters.

"Exactly my point! So, don't tell that demon a damn thing the next time you fall asleep, got it?  We can find answers our OWN way..." Parker sighs, finally laying his head back down onto his pillow.

"But what if they find out? What if they get pissed or something?" Chester asks, nervousness growing in his voice.

"They won't, I'm sure of it...I feel like Narc is too hyper to even attempt to get mad...." Parker huffs.

"Yeah...I've never actually seen them mad before, do they even know how to express that emotion?" Chester questions, mostly to himself.

"It's best if we don't find out....like, ever." Parker laughs.

"Yeah, I agree." Chester smiles, gently laying his head back down onto Parker's chest, sighing softly.

"What time is it?" Parker mumbles, sticking his hand through the others hair.

"The last time I checked, I believe it was around 7." Chester replies.

"I don't have to drive Narc anywhere for the second time today, right?" Parker asks worriedly.

"I don't think so....did you want to do anything?" Chester questions.

Parker hums quietly, closing his eyes.
"I think I'll just spend the rest of my evening with you..."
