"Dude, can you please explain to me WHY I had blood all over me?" Chester asks, surprisingly more in a calm tone than a panicked one.

Parker was still curled up a ball on the couch, head buried in a couch pillow.
He didn't want to say anything, but he fears saying nothing might cause even more problems.

Chester sighed softly, carefully sitting down next to his traumatized boyfriend.
"Im not gonna be mad, I promise..." he assures him.

The guilt was going to kill him if he didn't say something.
Parker slowly lifts up his head from the cushion, exposing his terrified face to the other.

"Parker, what happened?" Chester asks again, frowning at his distressed expression.

"Uhm...a lot?" Parker mumbles, gently laying his head back down onto the couch pillow, but not as hidden this time.

"Yeah, I can see that." Chester huffs, placing a hand on the others tense shoulder.

"Uh...that monster thing...killed somebody, Chester..." Parker exhales quickly.

"What?" Chester says, his grip suddenly getting tighter.

"It was...horrible. They were all....mangled up and....Narc buried them but..." Parker's words grew quiet, as if he didn't have the energy to speak anymore.

Chester loosens his grip, sighing. "Shit..." he whispers, lowering his head.

"Yeah...." Parker replies.
...
...
...
The room was quiet for a few minutes, none of them knew what to say at that point.

Chester moved his hand up to Parker's head, gently caressing his messed up hair.

"It must've been hard for you to see me like that, huh?" Chester speaks up, keeping his voice at a whisper.

Parker just nods, sighing softly.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that, and I'm also sorry you have to keep going with Narc to see those things..." He continues, soon tangling his hand in Parker's hair.

Parker had no idea how one could be so calm about all of this...Chester should be freaking the hell out by now.

But no, there he was, gently playing with Parker's hair like it was some kind of fidget toy. Although, that small action was....rather calming.

"This...isn't your fault." Parker mumbles, slightly shifting around.

"Nor is it yours, so don't blame yourself." Chester smiles, leaning down to kiss Parker's forehead.

Chester was truly something else, maybe an angel in disguise....or maybe he was just being a good boyfriend.

"I don't feel like I say this to you enough....but, I love you." Parker mutters, finally sitting up from his depression hideout.

"Awww, I love you too, dude." Chester beams, pulling him in for a big hug.
"Agh- Chester, your squeezing my ribs..." Parker gasps out, sharply exhaling.

"Oops, sorry, sorry..." Chester laughs, loosening his grip, but not letting go.

He never wanted Chester to let go, he wanted to stay like this forever, in a time where no one can hurt them....

But....all good things must come to an end.

Chester (unfortunately) lets him go, getting up from the couch to stretch.

"So, got any plans for today? You know...other than staying on the couch?" Chester smiles.

Huh...that's right, he still had the whole day ahead of him.

Parker could do so much more than just sit around and be clinically depressed!
