12 - The First Kiss

Daniel's POV
I didn't know what happened. I just felt hot wet lips on mine; devouring it.
I totally welcomed it. Her lips felt so good. I totally lost control; just this one kiss from her was already turning me on. I restrained myself quickly.

From the look of Damilola's face, she didn't expect that to have happened either. Fortunately, the movie was over; great timing.
"Uhhhh, Good night then"Damilola said,
"Yeah, good night, sweet dreams"I answered,
"You too"Damilola replied before she left the room.

I couldn't believe what was happening; just a kiss. What was up with me?; This surely had never happened before.

Damilola's POV
I couldn't believe that I just kissed Daniel. This was never meant to happen. Though it felt quite good but still....... seemed to early.
I even got lost in it!; Dami why?????.
I couldn't get my mind off it; I had to somehow. Damn it!!!!.

The next morning, I got up late and being Sunday got to attend church service and stuff. I had my bath, got dressed and went downstairs. I didn't know why I felt quite awkward when I saw Daniel who was already downstairs, on the dining eating.
When I got to the table, he looked up at me and then said,
"Good morning, have a sit"
Weird..........
"Good morning"I replied calmly looking at him strangely.
"I prepared breakfast for the both of us, this is yours"he said as he placed my food in the table.
"Quit looking at me like that, there's nothing wrong if I prepare breakfast for both of us, come on... "Daniel added.
"I didn't say it was wrong, sorry, I meant to say thank you"I answered him.
"You're welcome"he replied as he continued to eat.
I took a one glance at him and he caught my eye then smirked and looked away.
The rest of the day wasn't that eventful maybe the next would; who knows what tomorrow would bring.

The next day, before Daniel went to work, we greeted each other as usual then had breakfast. After, Daniel had asked me for a dinner night and of course I gladly accepted. It was like him asking for a date;mmmm......
Sometime later, Daniel got back from work. We greeted each other casually.
We both went up to get freshed up. I got into a red knee length velvet gown with a tiny arm and v- shaped neck. I took a good look at myself and was satisfied before I went downstairs and met Daniel already waiting for me.

As I approached him, he was just staring at me; looking lost.
"I'm sure we can go now"I said,
"I have to say, you're looking beautiful"He replied,
"Thank you"I answered.
He too was looking handsome; he always looked that way. I guess now I'm admiring the husband I married; nice.
We got into the car and were on our way to who knows where Daniel was taking me.

We had stopped at a Chinese restaurant; okay?.
We got inside, then settled down and then a waiter approached us to ask what we wanted from the menu. Daniel ordered something simple and I ordered the same as his.

Some minutes later, the food arrived.
"Are you sure you can eat that?"Daniel asked,
"Of course yes"
"You should have ordered something else"
"Why?"
"It doesn't seem like you eat this"
"Ohh really?, I can see you really know me more than I do"
"Possibly, aren't we getting to know each other?, it's a great start"Daniel said.
During the dinner, I wanted to use the restroom then on my way there, my eyes saw someone at the end corner; he looked really familiar like someone I knew really well.
Unfortunately, the person also at that moment looked up at me and our eyes got interlocked. I quickly diverted my eyes away from the person. Then it clicked into my head who it was.
OMG...............it was Clinton. He was back to Nigeria?. Why did I see me?. I just hoped he didn't notice me. I didn't want any more problems.
I quickly went to ease my self and as I came out of the restroom, I met a huge figure at my front.
Oh no.........

"And who do I have here?"Clinton exclaimed.
"Mrs Oluwadamilola Adeleke, it's so good to see you"He added,
"It's good to see you too, long time"I replied him.
"Yeah long time, you know your dearest love is waiting for you so I wouldn't want to hold you back, I would love to continue this conversation but I guess not, can I have your number?"Clinton said,
"Okay"I simply answered. He collected my number and then greeted me a good bye.
Clinton was back; I actually thought he was going to hate me after what I did to him but it wasn't my fault; I had no choice then.
Sooner or later you'll get a hand of who Clinton was.

Daniel's POV
Damilola had arrived with a different look on her face; like she was reasoning something; she looked worried?.
"I'm sorry I wasted so much time"She said with a new expression on her face.
"No need to apologise"I answered her.
We stayed a little longer; talking and laughing. This was certainly the best idea ever.
Getting to know Damilola, actually changed the idea I had about her.
She wasn't the spoilt brat I thought she was. She was totally different; a whole lot different. She was quite interesting to talk to; nice and charming which is weird for me to say. And she was also very beautiful and sexy.
We got home back sometime later and parted ways to our respective rooms.

Damilola's POV
The dinner was the best. Daniel was kind of sweet and charming and just by this one night out with him, I felt like I had known him for a long time.
He got my mind off Clinton.

We had gotten home back and I just came out of the bathroom after a cold shower. There was a knock on the door and after asking who it was; I opened the door; it was obviously Daniel.
"Umm......"Daniel said while staring at me. His eyes hovered all over my body.
He finally snapped out of whatever was going on in his head.
"I just wanted to say a thank you for tonight and wish you a good night"He added,
"Yeah, okay then, good night"I answered.
Right then, something very stupid happened. My towel kind of loosed right in front of Daniel.
It almost fell to the ground; I quickly adjusted it and when I looked up, I met Daniel staring at me.
Shit!!!!!!!!!.
