30 - Disappointed

Damilola's POV
I felt like my whole world was crumbling infront of me after watching an unexpected clip. I can't believe Daniel lied to me about everything. He lied about his love for me; me being his world and everything and he would never do anything to ruin our relationship but the clip proved everything wrong.

Tears kept rolling down my cheeks. I felt betrayed and embarrassed. I heard knocks on my room door as Dara was trying to talk to me. I wasn't in the right state to talk to anyone at that moment.
The clip of Daniel on bed with another woman both of them mourning and enjoying each other. It was something unpleasant to watch. I wish it wasn't even publicized but practically every one in the party saw the clip. I can't believe every single thing we had was fake and he was actually cheating on me.
I trusted him everything; I was madly in love with him but I got cheated in return.

Daniel's POV
I was dumbstruck by the clip that played. It was a sex clip of me with someone other than Damilola. How was that even possible?. I had never cheated on Damilola since we got married and would certainly never do that because I loved her more than anything.
I felt Damilola's hand slip out from mine as she looked at me with disgust and ran upstairs with tears already rolling down her eyes. I didn't know how I was going to explain to her that I never cheated on her.

I felt embarrassed as almost everyone I knew saw the clip. I maned up and just left the venue too. The guests left soon after. That was the best. It didn't matter what they thought, all that mattered to me was Damilola. I just wanted to hold her and tell her I loved her with everything in me and would never cheat on her.
How come it was even another clip that played?; Something was wrong.

My mind quickly went back to that night on my business trip when I woke up half naked. This was a planned work but by who.
I left where I was and headed towards Damilola's room. I knocked on her door and got no reply. I opened the door surprisingly because I thought she would have shut it. I entered into the room and found no one there. It was empty.

Where was she?.

I got very worried.

I left the room and went around the house to look for her but she was no where to be found.

When did she leave the house?.

Kola hadn't left yet as I met him in the living room.
"Hey guy, it's alright, I'm here for you"Kola began.

"She left angrily, I even tried to calm her down but she didn't even want to listen, she dragged her friend along and they both left"Kola added.

Daniel sighed before answering;
"This was a planned work, and I'm going to find out who planned this".

"Just calm down guy, it will be fine, you're going to explain everything to her when her blood stops boiling"

"She doesn't deserve this Kola"

"I think I know who did this......I saw someone who looked like your ex"Kola told me.

"Beatrice was here, how come?,...... Ohhh shit...  Everything is getting clear to me....she did this....fuck"I exclaimed,

"Did what?"

"Oh I forgot to tell you what happened in my trip, we met and she told me that she was pregnant and I know I'm not the one responsible because I always take precautions and I told her that whatever we had was over that I was madly in love with Damilola and she was who I wanted to begin my family with, she didn't argue much but instead left angrily and threatened me too, that same night someone came into my suite and then I found myself half naked the next morning"I explained.

"What the hell.....did you report it?, How did she even get into your suit"kola exclaimed.

"Guy.....I don't even know..... this can't be happening now...... Damilola doesn't calm down for things like this"I said.

"Her friend will calm her down, don't worry"Kola calmed me down.

Damilola's POV
"Dami, calm down........ you know Daniel can't do this to you, it must be a misunderstanding"Dara kept saying to me.
I didn't want to hear anything at that moment. I knew what I saw; it was Daniel in the video. Darasimi had kept on repeating the same thing that it was probably a misunderstanding and Daniel couldn't do such a thing to me. I was fed up already.

"I'm not going back there, I don't want to set my eyes on him again, he's been lying to me Dara, I can't take this......"I said sobbing.

"Calm down, there's another side to this story.... it's okay..... I'm here for you, come on"Darasimi whispered to ears as she embraced me.
"Daniel loves you and he would never want to hurt you..... we'll settle this tomorrow, it's okay"She added.
I wish she was right because at that moment I couldn't believe it.

I barely slept that night. I kept repeating the whole event in my head. I wanted the night to go smoothly as I had my final surprise for Daniel but I couldn't possibly tell him again.

The next morning quite very early, there was constant knocks on the door. I was in the right mood to answer. Dara came out of her room as she gave me a stern look as she opened the door. I couldn't see who it was and I was interested not until my eyes met with someone I knew very well. It was Daniel; oh gosh.... what else did he want?.

Dara left the both of us alone. I didn't want to look at him. I stood up about to leave when he held my hands and drew me back. I struggled from his grip but he wouldn't let me go. He held my face up to look up at him and before I knew it he took my lips into his then released it after. I was so annoyed and pissed but I felt quite calm. I kind of needed it though.

"Daniel let me go!!!"I screamed at him as he loosened his grip on me. I made quite a distance between the both of us.
"I don't want to talk to you right now, please leave"I told him.

"I love you Damilola and I would never cheat on you, I would never do anything to jeopardize our relationship and you know that, you're bound to be angry and it's okay for you to want to kill me, beat me, slap me, you can do anything you want, but.... please hear me out"Daniel began.

"Hear what out?...... Daniel!, You've been lying to me since the beginning and you love me?, What love?, Tell me.... I'm fed up of your lies, what more do you want to say?, What do you want from me?, You cheated on me Daniel, what else?"I snapped at him already in tears as I fell on the ground.

"Go away please, you've hurt me enough, I loved you Daniel....why did you do this?"I added.

Daniel came closer to me as he knelt down and faced me. I couldn't stop crying. I felt deeply hurt.

"Damsel please, I can't do this and you know, someone is trying to separate us, this is a set up,...... I'll tell you everything"Daniel said.

I couldn't stand to hear anything that he would utter out of his mouth. I quickly stood up and ran away as I locked myself in the guest room. I knew getting married to Daniel was a mistake. I was fed up and this had to end.

Daniel kept knocking on the door and trying to open it but all his efforts proved to no avail.
"I'm sorry... please just hear me out....Dami please..... please open the door"Daniel kept saying.

I stayed in there for quite a long time and didn't come out until Dara came to call me out that Daniel had gone. I didn't believe her at first but later obliged.
Dara embraced me as soon as I came out of the room. I couldn't live without Daniel but what's to gain by loving someone who only lies to you. I could never live with such a person. I'm done with Daniel and no one could make me change my mind.
