17 - Feelings

Daniel's POV
I couldn't believe that she really accepted. I was about drifting off to sleep when I heard the door slightly open and close; I knew she was the one. She quietly slipped into the bed lying beside me.
"Damsel?"I called her as I turned to face the side she was; she did the same.
"Damsel?, Don't call me that"She answered,
"Why not?"I asked,
"Don't fancy it, Just to clear your mind, I came here because I'm responsible for you and I need to be by your side in case of anything"Damilola answered.
"You're sure?, Thank you though"I said staring into her eyes.
"Stop talking and sleep, okay?"Damilola ordered.
"I can't sleep"
"Of course you won't sleep by talking and thinking"
"Thinking?, What makes you think so?, You want to know what I'm thinking of?"I asked,
"What?"
"About how beautiful the wife I married is"
"Mmmm really?, Just stop it, okay? and close your eyes and sleep"Damilola chuckled.
"Sing me a lullaby first"I said,
"Really?, Are you a baby?"Damilola exclaimed,
"Aren't I your baby?"I asked,
"What?, Of course not, get this straight I'm not singing you a lullaby so if you won't sleep, your problem"Damilola concluded before she turned her back on me.
I gave up but it was fun tising her though.
Sooner, I drifted off into my dream world.

Damilola's POV
I woke up slowly with the morning sun. I could feel someone's hand over my waist and the face buried at the back of my head. I figured out it was Daniel. We so close to each other; I could feel his hot breath on my skin. I tried to move but the hands wouldn't let me; was he awake?.

"Morning beautiful"He said behind me. He was doing this on purpose; imagine.
"Could you let me go right now?"I asked him,
"Should I take that as a greeting?"He replied,
"Daniel I'm serious"I answered him,
"You don't want my cuddle and warmth"He said.
What was going on with him?????.
I really had to get off the bed because he was bringing something up in me, which I really didn't want at that point.
"Daniel, aren't you going to work, it seems like you're better now?"I asked him,
"Maybe and do you know why that is?, you're magic body healed me over night and I'm not going to work today, I'll just be out for a short while and then will spend the rest of the day with you"Daniel answered before finally letting go of me.
"just listen to yourself, you're not serious" I said as I quickly slipped out of the bed and left the room as quickly as I could before Daniel tries another stunt with me.
Wasn't this what I wanted??????.

"Are you mad at me?"Daniel asked me during breakfast sometime later.
"No, I'm not"I answered him,
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to annoy you, I just wanted to have fun with you"Daniel said apologizing to me.
"Why are you apologising?, I'm serious I'm not mad at you, I didn't complain to you, did I?"I replied him,
"Okay, if you say so"Daniel answered.
"You know there's nothing wrong with a husband having fun with his wife"I answered; he just looked at me then smirked.

Daniel went out for a while; not to work; he told me he was going to see someone. I too had things I wanted to do and somewhere to go. I needed to see Dara first so Daniel had asked to dropped me off there; I agreed.
I didn't forget about the concert Daniel wanted me to attend with him. He had actually reminded me in case I forgot.
Daniel was already home by the time I arrived back. That was nearly evening time. We had dinner early and it was just something light.The concert started from 7pm so we had too leave early.

Daniel's POV
Damilola always looked beautiful all the time even when asleep. I couldn't stop staring at her last night and couldn't resist the urge to take her into my arms. I couldn't get my mind of her; does this mean I was falling in love with her?.
"You didn't have to come if you didn't want to since isn't your type of thing" I said to Damilola on our way.
"It isn't bad to try out new things, to me it was somehow, not for someone like me" She answered,
"Like you?, a rich top classy girl like you?, that's nice" I replied her.
"It's just this one time though"She said,
"Okay, no problem" I answered.

I couldn't even enjoy myself; all my attention was just on Damilola. She was having a good time and I watching her. I too needed to have a good time so I joined her. I began to have a good time too.

Damilola's POV
Daniel just kept looking at me and fantasying in his head. I had too snap him out; cause I was really having fun and I wanted him too since that was the reason he wanted to come.
I was beginning to really like Daniel; very much because if not I wouldn't have let him touch me at all even to the point when we kiss each other and even sleep by each other side.

The concert was finally over late at night; we had already gotten into the car ready to go.
"Hope you enjoyed yourself?"Daniel asked,
"Yeah I did, thanks"I answered,
"You'll just say only a thank you, just like that?, Of course not, you'll have to complement it with something"Daniel said,
"Like what?"I asked,
"Something sweet and romantic" Daniel replied,
"Are you for real?, Okay later, let's get home first"I answered,
"Okay, my lady"Daniel said before we finally left where we were.

On getting home, I was about to enter my room when Daniel called me back. I had remembered my promise to him but........
"And where do you think you're going?"Daniel asked,
"Into my room"I answered,
"Your room?, My thank you first"He said,
"Is that all you want?, Fine"I answered.
I moved closer to him right there; just an inch away. I placed my hand over his shoulder and then moved to take his lips into mine. I took it slowly as I did. I felt Daniel's hand move to my waist pulling me closer to him taking the kiss deeper.
We both didn't know when we both lost control. I could feel Daniel's hand moving up and down my back. I didn't know when I opened my door and urshered both of us inside.
Daniel left my lips to my neck then back to my lips.
"You taste so good"He mummured then suddenly let go; I got snapped out of what was happening as soon as he did; it was just supposed to be a quick kiss and it led to something else; unbelievable.
"We should stop before things get any more tensed, you should rest for your party tomorrow, Good night wifey"Daniel said about to leave the room.
"And where do you think you're going?"I asked him.
Daniel turned to look at me then he chuckled; "where else would I go if not to my room"He exclaimed,
"I thought.......no worries"I said.
"Mmmm, I know what's on your mind, get changed and get to bed, sweet dreams"Daniel answered me as he moved close to me and kissed me again just for a second then left.

Daniel's POV
Damilola continues to amaze me. She was irresistible and charming. I knew she wanted me by her side but just didn't want to say it; she loved the way it was last night but I wasn't sure I could resist myself from having all her because just by kissing her; I was getting turned on. I couldn't fantasize about her in peace when a call came in; it was Beatrice; really?? now???.

I had a brief conversation with her; I wasn't in the mood for any long talk with her. I think it was best I ended things with her but I didn't want her to feel bad; I had hurt her enough. I had to tell her but in a way she would understand; probably when she returns from her trip.
