26 - Little secrets

Damilola's POV
He wanted me as much as I wanted him. We've both missed each other badly. Daniel started placing heavy kisses around my body. From my lips to my neck then all the way down to my breasts. He came back to my lips with a hot and passionate kiss.
Daniel undressed me quickly and as he was about to enter into me, he paused for a minute like he was thinking something. He moved away from where I was and pulled out something from his bag. When I saw what it was, it got me thinking too.

When did he start using protection???. He never used it when we first had sex.
Why now???.

He put it on and continued from where he stopped before I was able to question him or anything. He saw the expression on my face but didn't utter a word. We spent hours ravaging each other's body; Daniel in particular was so turned on; he couldn't get enough of me. He later decided that we could get some sleep.

Daniel's POV
Damilola was surprised that I wanted to use protection because I didn't use it the first time. I had to this time because I wasn't certain of what happened last night and I didn't want to risk anything when it came to Damilola. I couldn't resist her so I had to use something. I was going to explain to her because I knew she was certainly going to ask me why. But I was going to get a test done first then find out what exactly transpired that night.

The next morning I woke up very early before Damilola but I couldn't stand up because if I did she was going to wake up as she had wrapped herself around me. I caught myself staring at her beautiful face as I shifted to place a kiss on her forehead and that was when she woke up.
"Don't tell me you wanted to leave"She said softly.
"Leave?, No way I'm on a break, it's just us for today"I told her.
"Then you place your head down, and get back to sleep, you need it, okay?"Damilola ordered,
"Yes ma"I answered,
"You make me feel old, stop it"She replied,
"Can't sleep"I confessed.
Damilola adjusted to look at me properly.
"What are you thinking about?"She asked,
"You"
"Me??, I have a question"
"Fire on"
"What happened during your trip?, Because I feel there's something you want to tell me that you finding had to, remember you promised me that you'll never hide anything from me"Damilola said.

She could read my mind.

"I know I did, it's just that it's something in the past, it's not important right now"I answered her,
"Fine, don't tell me"Damilola snapped as she began to move away from me.
"I'm sorry"I told her as I pulled her back to me. I made her to face me before I added,
"I'll tell you".
"I met my ex and it didn't go so well with her and yesterday someone got into my suite and I don't know who or what happened, I just found myself half dressed the next morning"I explained to her.

I couldn't summon the courage to bring up Beatrice at that moment. I could only talk about the incident.

"Wait what?, Someone got into your suite?, How?, Didn't you report it?"Damilola asked,
"I actually did but I didn't get the time to really find out who because I had to take my flight back home"I answered.
"So that's what you're worried about?, Don't worry we'll find out who and what happened"Damilola replied.
"That's why you used condom last night"She exclaimed,
"I'm just taking precautions"I said.
Damilola chuckled as I sat up and carried her on my laps.
"You know I'm not using any pill and you don't use protection...."Damilola began,
"I'll love anything that happens, okay?"I told her as I gave her a slow kiss.
We talked for a little while longer then as we couldn't stop being turned on by each other, we went into another round of lovemaking till later on when we both had our bath and had late breakfast.

Damilola's POV
Daniel was everything I wanted. I loved everything about him. I was quite worried though when he mentioned something about meeting is ex and then someone broke into his suite; I think there was something missing and a connection too but we were going to find out. I just had this bad feeling about it. I was just being pessimistic that's all. Nothing was wrong; I guess.
Daniel had also said he would love if we had a baby. I didn't even know whether I was ready to have a baby yet. Having a baby is a huge responsibility and I don't think I was ready for that but I haven't been taking any precautions. Whatever happens happens; that's just it.

During our discussion, I figured out Daniel's birthday and realized that it was just in four days time. It was so dumb of me not to know the birthday of my husband. It got me thinking what I should do for him since this was impromptu.

What could I do?.

I wanted to do something very sweet for him but what?. I could throw him a surprise party; that would be great.
But his birthday was in four days time. How was I going to manage this???.

After breakfast, Daniel and I left the house to my parent's house. He had insisted that he wanted to see my dad because he didn't tell them he was traveling and leaving me behind. He saw my dad and he was looking better though he had to undergo a surgery in about two days time. Daniel was angry that I didn't tell him; I just got carried away.

We later left sometime later. Daniel remembered the promise he made to me before he travelled that he was going to make it up to me. He took me out to relax. He got to relax too. He promised me there that he was going to give me my dream honeymoon that I didn't have. He refused to tell me what he was planning no matter how hard I tried to convince him.

We had such a good time and arrived back home in the evening. We had a very light dinner then had a warm bath before Daniel told me to change into something hot and sexy; why???.
I asked him why and instead of answering me, he went to my wardrobe and picked a very mini body hug dress. It was a dress I didn't wear any longer since I got married and he wanted me to wear it.
I couldn't argue so I wore the dress. As he sighted me, he couldn't get his eyes of me. He pulled me closer to himself and stole a kiss from me.
"You're looking so hot and sexy right now"he whispered into my ear.
"Where are we going?"I asked,
"Clubbing"He answered.

Clubbing; like seriously???.

Unknown POV
"Everything is working out just like we planned, we just have to wait for the d day"I told him.
"Good, my patience has been exhausted, I need to have what is mine, I've waited for too long and I could finally get my revenge"He answered,
"I can't wait too, just see everything they have built fall apart, I'm so certain they are going to love the surprise"I replied,
"Definitely"He concluded.
