I wish I could put you in my pocket and take you where I go.
Life is just not the same without your laughter in the morning,
your lazy coffee breaks in the afternoon,
and the click-clacking of your keyboard right after dinner.I know I've said it a hundred thousand times before,
but it has always been true:
you are the greatest thing that happened to me,
and I may have loved you longer than you know.Everyday is full of uncertainties.
But tomorrow will always be beautiful.
I know that every time I search for you,
I'll find you in the corner, rereading O'Hara,
unconscious of the joy that fills my heart,
knowing that you are mine.My eyes would linger on your face when you don't know it.
Our elbows would brush each other in the hallway.
This is enough to lighten a spark in my chest,
that would take a thousand hours to quench. Are you not aware of the force of your stare
from across the room?
Are you not aware of my trembling hand,
yearning to touch your cheek when you fall asleep beside me?Your presence alone can burn the lonely city I built around my mind,
Your kiss can cause the fireworks that light it up.
