I thought I'd recognize it when I see it,
I was wrong.
It was a faceless stranger,
And nothing more.
I thought I'd see the signs,
Move past reds and greens,
But I think I took a wrong turn,
Then ended up here.
I cried today in nobody's arms,
Reciting over and over again,
It will come to me someday,
Just not today, not today.
