Lonely light,
Dangling from the ceiling,
Bright and yellow,
It's almost blinding.Blinking without knowing,
Providing without any thoughts,
A companion without feeling,
Solo witness of my faults. Its glow casts the shadow,
On his once lovely face,
Where he goes I will follow,
Even on stormy days.Lonely light,
Capture these moments,
Under you and the moonlight,
In his eyes, I'm suspended.Without you in the darkness,
My heart will deflate,
I miss him in the limelight,
Needing his embrace.
