I wake up at around five in the morning, early and unexpected. I get out of Derek's embrace and head to the bathroom. I decide to take a warm shower. I turn the shower on, waiting for it to warm up. I slip off my clothes, letting them hit the floor.

The water burns me for a moment but I get comfortable. I wash and condition my hair, then lather my body with body wash. I decide not to shave since I'm going to be in sweats anyway, and I'm not getting any action at the moment, I'm not supposed to get any anyway until I'm healed. Once I'm done with my shower, I dry myself off a bit then wrap the towel around my body.

I grab another pad from under the bathroom sink and I head back into my room. I gather the clothes I want to wear then make my way back to the bathroom. I put my underwear halfway on then stick the pad on and slide the underwear up. I fully dry myself off and put the rest of my clothes on. I take another dry towel and wrap my hair in it.

I hang the towel up to dry then head into the kitchen. I look in the fridge to grab a container that was filled with pre-made breakfast food. I reheat the burrito and hash browns and wait for the microwave to beep. I place the warm food along with the grapes on the plate and grab the orange juice from the fridge and a cup from the cabinet. Once I'm done pouring myself a cup-full of orange juice, I put the juice away and shit the fridge.

I take my plate and cup and gently place it on the table. I take a bite of the burrito, it's good, but it needs a little something. I get up and look for the hot sauce. Once I see it, I reach my arm up and grab it. I head back over to the table and open the hot sauce. I put some on the burrito and take a bite. Perfect, I think to myself. I grab my phone and watch a show I've been watching recently. Once I'm done eating, I wash the plate and the container, and put away the hot sauce.

Derek walks into the kitchen.

"Good morning, Y/N."

"Morning, Derek."

"How'd you sleep?"

"I slept fine, thanks. How about you?"

"Good, good, thanks. Did you already eat?"

"Mhm. I just finished washing the plate and container."

"How'd you like it?"

"It was good, needed a bit of hot sauce though."

"Everything needs a bit of hot sauce."

"Are you hungry? I could make you something."

"I'm good, Princess. I can make something myself."

"Please don't call me that."

"Call you what? Princess?"

"Yes. Please refrain from that name. Bad memories are involved with that name and I don't want to talk about it."

"Sure, it's a done deal."

"Anyway, are you sure you don't want me to make you anything? It's no trouble."

"Yes, I'm sure."
