I wake up around noon. I guess my body needed the sleep. I get up from the bed and stretch. I grab two towels and make my way into the bathroom. I let the water heat up and I get out of yesterday's clothes. Once the water was ready, I get into the shower.

My arms are still a bit sore from yesterday. I let the water hit my face, and it stings. The cuts are still there, along with the mark from Elliot's hands. Shit. Elliot and I were legally still married, meaning I have to call an attorney or a lawyer and whole bunch of other people.

Last I checked he doesn't have any living family members. No parents, he was an only child, no aunts or uncles, no one. I was his only family left. Meaning, I should be able to receive all of his money. Could you imagine? Having very little money, then boom, you're suddenly set for life.

Aaron was a lawyer before becoming an agent at the BAU, maybe he could help me? I don't know. I'd have to do something in return. Maybe I could get a referral? I'll figure it out. I gently wash my body and my hair then get out of the shower.

I get dressed, and do my hair. I should probably lay off the makeup until my face is healed. I wouldn't want any infections. I clean Raven's litter box and fill her bowls. I give her a few pets then shut the door behind me. I walk into the kitchen to see Derek cooking.

"Good morning, Y/N."

"Morning."

"Are you hungry?"

"Yeah, what are you making?"

"Grilled cheese, want some?"

"Yeah, do you have tomato soup by any chance?"

"I can look, give me a minute or two."

"Okay," I say with a smile.

Derek finishes the grilled cheese he was working on then looks through his cabinets.

"Lucky for you I did find a can of tomato soup," he said holding the can of soup.

"Yes! Do you mind making it for me?"

"I don't mind, give me like ten minutes, do you want a grilled cheese too?"

"Yes please."

"Great, chill out in the living room and I'll make your food."

"Thank you, Derek."

"No problem."

I made my way to the living room and turned the TV on. I went through various channels until I landed on one that I liked. Eventually Derek was done and he gave me my food. We ate together.

"Are you okay to be by yourself?"

"Yeah, go ahead."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, go to work."

"Or you could come with me? Hang out at a desk?"

"Are you sure?"
