Y/N'S POV

The two of us are now tasked to take the players to a large room and changing them into their game uniforms.

I am amazed at how many people are brought here—there are 187 players to be exact.

I am assigned to change one of players clothes with someone who is not Jun-Ho.

The player has shoulder length hair which is tied in a braid. As I undress him I notice a snake motif on his back that went all the way up to his neck.

By the time everyone is done changing. The work is already over and we were told to return to our rooms.

As we walk down the hallway a voice announces over the speaker:
"The work day is over, all workers return to their rooms."

I check my room number. It's 030.

Since we are not allowed to talk I still don't know which room Jun-Ho is in and I avoid making any mistakes by trying to find out.

I step in front of my door and went inside. The room is small with a bed, a toilet and a table with a mirror.

Looking around I also notice a list of rules posted on the wall.
1.) Wearing masks outside
2.) No conversations
3.) Do not leave the room

I decide this is the time to reach out for Jun-Ho and ask where he is.

"Hey Jun-Ho can you hear me?" I whisper into the headset.

I notice a camera in the room and I am unsure if they can hear me.

"Yes I can hear you. I am so glad that you are fine" Jun-Ho replies relieved.

"What number are you?" he asks.

"I'm number 030. And you?" I answer.

"Number 029" he says.

"Good, at least our rooms are next to each other." I say with relief.

I fell better knowing he is nearby otherwise I would worry about him constantly.

Since neither of us knows what will happen next we both stay in our rooms and wait.

Suddenly a small hatch in my door opens and someone slides in food for the workers.

The meal is rice, spinach and a piece of meat.

I hesitate to take of my mask because the other workers might see me and realize I am not the same person who was here before.

What should I do?

But I decide to risk it. I take off my mask and start eating my food.

I will come up with an excuse if anyone notices.

Time passes and it's already evening. The speaker announces that it's time for all workers to go to sleep.

On the wall I find a pair of pajamas. I change into them and get ready for bed.

"Now it's bedtime. Good work today" says the speaker.

Shortly after that the lights go out.

I try to sleep, meanwhile Jun-Ho writes notes on his phone about what happened so he can send it afterwards to our colleagues.

My phone vibrates and I check to see what it was.

It was a message from Jun-Ho.

"Good Night Y/N :)"
𝗠𝗲:
"Good Night Jun-Ho"

After that we both fall asleep.

"A new day has started, it's time to get up. Roll call begins in ten minutes. Now it's breakfast time" the speaker announces.

I wake up and quickly start changing into my uniform. It's a bit tricky since I have to keep my body covered to avoid suspicion.

"Ready?" Jun-Ho whispers through the headsets.

"Ready" I reply confidently.

Ten minutes pass and all workers leave their room for roll call.

Standing in front of my door I glance at Jun-Ho to check if he is prepared. He looks at me and nods, confirming that he is ready.

However I notice the guy next to
Jun-Ho watches him closely. It seems like he suspects something is off.

"Roll call completed. Please proceed to your positions now" the speaker announces and we head to our task.
