"It's number 28" says the square to the front man after they found his body.

"There are two more—the one who killed this one." the front man replies.

"Maybe they already escaped into the sea?"

The Front man looks at the oxygen tanks.

"The oxygen tanks are all here. They're still here" he says

Y/N'S POV

Jun-Ho and I check every door we came across. As we look around we notice a doll standing there.

Jun-Ho and I manage to get into an office and he quickly shuts the door behind us. I look around trying to make a sense of the room. There is another door that leads to a basement.

Jun-Ho stays cautious, holding his gun ready for anything. The room is dark so I turned on my flashlight.

"Is this the room where all the lists are?" I ask.

"Maybe. Let's look around but be careful." Jun-Ho replies.

We search every corner of the room until I find something.

"Jun-Ho come here! I think I found something." I call out.

"List of players, 1999" I read out loud.

Jun-Ho's eyes widen and we both start searching for the year 2020. After a few seconds of searching I find it and Jun-Ho flips through the pages.

He doesn't find anything at first but then he spots a box labeled with the winners.

𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯𝟮, 𝗛𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻-𝗛𝗼.

"My brother" Jun-Ho says, his voice filled with emotions.

He immediately looks for more information about player 132 and his brother's details. He takes out his phone and photographs the evidence.

Out of nowhere a phone starts ringing upstairs. We exchange glances and head upstairs to investigate.

"Why is the phone ringi—" I start to ask but Jun-Ho quickly covers my mouth. He hears someone entering the room.

He grabs my hand and leads me into another room while keeping his hand over my mouth to make sure I don't make a sound. After a moment the person leaves and Jun-Ho lets go.

"Sorry" he says quietly.

We go back to the phone and Jun-Ho tries to call the police but no ones answers.

"We should hide for now. We can't leave because they are already looking for us" I say.

"You're right. Let's hide in the basement and come up with a plan." Jun-Ho agrees.

"Y/n do you have any idea how we are going to get out of here? You're the smart one between us." Jun-Ho asks.

I take a moment to think.

"We should wait and gather more information. We don't know who the VIPs really are or what they're doing but one thing is certain—they are here to watch the games." I say.

"Maybe the VIPs are our way out. They must have a way to come and go. We could disguise ourselves as VIPs but that's risky." I add.

"Or we could use the oxygen tanks and try to find an island. Once we are there we can alert the police. But these are just ideas. We still need to figure out how to make them work."

"Don't worry Y/n. We'll get out together, I promise". Jun-Ho says confidently.

"Okay that's goo-"

Before I can finish Jun-Ho covers my mouth again and pulls me close making me sit with my back against him.

Well this is awkward

Jun-Ho clearly doesn't mean to hold me like this but it's the only way to keep us hidden.

The front man comes into the basement and we stay completely silent. Jun-Ho keeps his gun aimed at the front man and is ready to shoot if needed. But the front man gets a call and leaves the room.

We both exhale in relief. Now we sneak out and hide waiting for the VIPs to arrive. When they finally do we watch them closely. We notice there are also servants working for the VIPs.

"We should both disguise ourselves as servants" Jun-ho suggest.

"I can't" I reply.

"Why?" he asks.

"Because all the servants have the same haircut. My hair and body type are completely different. They would notice me immediately." I answer.

"Okay i'll be a servant and you can disguise yourself as a soldier."

"Fine" I agree.

The servants are all preparing to serve the VIPs when one servant walks into our corridor. Jun-Ho points a gun at him.

"Your shift is over" Jun-Ho says.

We knock the servant unconscious and drag him into a storage chamber.

Jun-Ho unzips the servants suit and starts changing. I quickly turn around to give him privacy.

He notices and smirks.

"What, you don't want to watch me?" he teases.

Normally, I would scold him and roll my eyes at him but this times I remain silent. My face flushes red as my thoughts wander to places they shouldn't.

What's wrong with me?

First that awkward moment at the basement and now this?

Do I have a crush on him?

No that's impossible.

Jun-Ho confessed his feelings to me years ago but I didn't feel the same way. We stayed friends and as far as I know he moved on. Sometimes he flirts with me as a joke but it never feels serious.

Jun-Ho finishes putting the servant uniform and fastens the belt.

"Aw, you've gotten shy." he says while grabbing my shoulders and turning me to face him.

His teasing smile fades away when he sees my red face. He looks shocked by my reaction.
