Y/N'S POV

"Y/n we should leave now before they catch us" Jun-Ho says, grabbing my hand as we run toward the tunnel where the oxygen tanks are stored.

We reach the stairs and start climbing down to the tunnel. I am already at the bottom but Jun-Ho takes a little longer. Suddenly I hear the frontman shout from above—he has seen us.

Jun-Ho looks up instinctively but I grab his arm and drag him towards the oxygen tanks.

"Hurry up we don't have much time" I say, handing him an oxygen tank.

I quickly start taking off my suit. Normally, Jun-Ho would take this moment to flirt but there is no time for it now. It's a life or death situation.

Jun-Ho already has his oxygen tank on and since I am struggling with it he helps me put mine on as fast as he can.

"Y/n are you really okay with this?" he asks, looking at me seriously.

"Yes, it's our only option now" I reply firmly.

"And what if we die here?" he asks again.

"The at least we'll die together" I answer with a small smile.

He laughs softly. "You idiot"

"Shut up we need to go now." I say.

We dived into the water meanwhile the other soldiers and the frontman enter the tunnel and realize that we are gone.

"Prepare a ship. Track them" the frontman orders.

By the time they start mobilizing
Jun-Ho and I are already swimming toward another island.

He keeps glancing back at me as we swim making sure I am okay.

When we finally arrive on the island we take off our oxygen tanks. Jun-Ho checks his phone immediately hoping for network access.

"Do you have network?" he asks me.

I check my phone but shake my head.
"No, nothing"

Jun-Ho sighs. "Okay we need to split up. You stay down here and hide while trying to get a signal and I will climb the rock and see if I can get a signal." he suggests.

"Are you crazy? We can't split up now! What if they find one of us?" I protest.

"Y/n we don't have a choice" he says, his voice filled with sadness.

I can tell that he is blaming himself for dragging me into this. He thinks one of us is going to die today.

He looks deeply into my eyes waiting for my answer. I sigh heavily.

"Alright, fine. Let's do it your way"

"Take care of yourself" he says softly while brushing my wet hair away from my face. Then he leans in and kisses my forehead.

Before I can say anything he turns around and starts climbing the rock.

I touch my forehead in disbelief, finally realizing what just happened. A small smile creeps on my face.

"Idiot. I hate you" I mutter while looking in his direction but he is already gone.

I force myself to focus and find a hiding spot.

I couch down and try calling the police but my signal is too weak. Suddenly I hear the sound of a boat approaching. The frontman and his soldiers arrived.

I am doomed.

From my hiding spot I watch the frontman shoot at our discarded oxygen tanks.

The loud gunshots probably alert Jun-Ho and he also realizes that the frontman is here.

"Find them both and bring them back to me alive" I hear the frontman command.

Two soldiers start climbing towards Jun-Ho while the third stays behind to search me.

Panic rises in me as the soldier begins heading in my direction. Luckily I still have a pocket knife.

I steady myself. I've killed before and I'll do it again if I have to.

I step back to position myself but the sound reveals my hiding spot. The soldier hears it and runs toward my hiding place.

He finds me and aims his gun at me but I act quickly and kick his weapon out of his hands. I grab my pocket knife and and run towards him while stabbing through his mask into his eyes.

He cries out in pain but I hold my hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. He falls to the ground and I climb on to of him

"Be a good boy and let me kill you" I whisper coldly.

Then I stab him repeatedly in the chest until he stops moving. Once he is dead I drag his body to the edge and throw it into the sea. I take his suit and put it on to disguise myself.

Meanwhile Jun-Ho is still on the run. The soldiers chase after him relentlessly. From my position I can see them closing in.

I need to overtake them.
