I was curious about what kind of deal the frontman was talking about but at the same time I was scared because my life would probably be depending on it.

"You will be working for me from now on. As a policewoman you are probably pretty skilled both physically and mentally. If you do not accept this deal I will kill you right now."
he points his gun towards me

"Besides, I think you have no other choice because you cannot escape this island. Your police team will never be able to find this island and your lover boy is also probably dead" he continues.

Is he out of his mind?

How can he say such things towards his brother?

I hesitate.

I have no other choice. Either I will die here right now or I will work for Jun-ho's brother.

However, I did not want to make this choice after I found out that In-ho is behind all of these crazy games and kills innocent people.

"So what do you say?" In-ho asks me while still pointing his gun towards me.

"Deal" I say and shook his hand.

I will get revenge for Jun-ho

Two years have now passed and I have barley been able to make any progress to put an end to these crazy games.

But I also collected as much informations as possible so if I ever escape this island I can use these informations against them.

I am supposed to protect the citizens and punish the criminals. But now I have to kill innocent people.

This thought is killing me more and more every day and I do not know if I can handle this any longer.

It's now 2024 and the gambling season is starting again. That means that homeless people are being asked to play in these games without knowing it will be their downfall.

Every year I am assigned to different positions. On the one hand, I am responsible for selling the organs but also eliminating disqualified players.

Employees are even allowed to return to their homes but they must come back when they are on duty.

I, on the other hand, am trapped here and not allowed to return home because they think that I am suspicious.

That's why I have been stuck here for two years without any informations about my police team or whether Jun-ho is really alive.

The thought alone that Jun-ho might be dead breaks my heart but knowing him, he won't be killed so easily.

I wonder if he is alright

What does my police team think about my disappearance?

Are they even looking for me?

These are questions I have asked myself again and again over the last two years.

The morning starts as usual
1.) Get up
2.) Take a shower
3.) Eat breakfast
4.) Wait for further confirmations

The preparation phase for the upcoming games is currently taking place. This means that new games are being constructed.

Fortunately, I don't have to kill any innocent people during this time. Its like a break for me once a year. Yay..!

Suddenly there is a knock on my door.

"Soldier 030" says a voice I can't quite recognize.

I kept my number 030. It reminds me of the time where Jun-ho and I smuggled in here. I was number 030 and he was number 029.

That was my only request to In-ho so that I can always remember Jun-Ho.

I open my door and in front of me is soldier 011.

I recognize her face but I don't know her that well. She seems pretty cold towards me.

"Yes, whats up?" I ask her.

"The frontman wants to talk to you" she responds.

"Oh okay" I say.

Then she goes back to her room.

On my way to the base I ask myself a lot of questions.

Did I do something wrong?

Why does the frontman wants to talk to me?

Am I finally free now?

The door scans my mask and after that the door opens.

I enter the room and In-ho looks at me with a serious expression.

"Is everything alright?" I ask.

"Y/n the new game season is about to start and I want to see more effort from you. The last few years you have tried to escape but failed miserably." he says.

"I could have killed you so many times but I didn't. Aren't you a bit grateful for that? I don't see my reward?" he continues

Reward?

For what?

For trapping me on this island?

"Then why didn't you kill me?" I say.

I would rather be dead now instead of killing innocent people.

"I still need you though" he chuckles.

Freak

"Anyway, the reason why I called you is because there will be a Halloween Party on October 31st. A special person will be waiting for me and I want you to come with me. But you better no try to escape or else—"

He points his gun towards me.

"Bang" he laughs out loud.

Special person?

What kind of person is he talking about?

"Did you understand that?" he raises his voice.

I flinch because I didn't expect him to raise his voice at me.

"The mission starts tomorrow so get mentally and physically prepared. There will also be other soldiers with you don't worry" he says.

"Yes, I got it sir" I response.

Asshole

After our talk I go back to my room and start thinking of a plan to escape him.

Forget it.

I am trapped here I cant get out.

But there must be a way, right?

No, I can't risk my life.

I will just do my mission as I was told to.

Tomorrow will be a long day.

The ending was such a cliffhanger! I might write a part 3 because I want to write my story according to the original storyline. 😮‍💨
