I sat on my bed, in my bunk, and wondered about The Hub, and the Agents I was going to be meeting there. I tried to picture what The Hub looked like, using the descriptions that Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Hunter had given me from their experiences there.
I sighed, and laid back on my bed. A moment later, the bunk door slid open. I jolted up, Assuming It was Coulson. But It was May. I smiled, and leaned against the wall. 'Can I sit?' She asked, smiling. I gestured next to me on the bed, and she came in, shutting the door behind her. She sat down, and looked at me, her eyes twinkling.
'Nervous?' She asked. I replied sarcastically. 'Whaat? Why on earth would I be nervous!' She chuckled a bit, and I went serious. 'I am so nervous.' I said. She looked in thought for a moment, before she spoke. 'About?' She said. 'Meeting Fury, and Maria Hill, and Victoria Hand.' I paused for a moment. 'And just about everyone else.'
'Hand doesn't like anyone, so don't be offended when she gives you the cold shoulder. She only shows respect, minor respect, to Hill and Fury, and occasionally Coulson, seeing as they are the same level.' 'If you want to be on Hand's good side, just listen to everything she says, and never get caught by her doing something you shouldn't be doing.' She said. I frowned at the last bit.
'It sounds like you speak from experience.' I smirked. 'Oh, I do.' She said, smirking back. 'What did you do?' I asked, curious. 'Oh, you know, I may or may not had dropped a bit of red paint on her head.' I opened my mouth. 'How much is a bit?' 'Only about half a bucket. Its not like it was fatal paint.' I smiled.
'Alright, Hill.' She said. 'Hill is pretty much a nice person, but do not take advantage of her being nice to you, because she will only kill you for it.' She is the only Level 9, therefore Fury's second in command. Just don't annoy her, and listen to what she says, because she is known for never repeating herself to people.' 'One of the rumors was that an agent broke a few ribs on a mission because they didn't listen to Hill, and she refused to repeat herself.' I was surprised. 'Wouldn't Fury get mad?' I asked. 'Nope' May responded. 'Fury doesn't care as long as no one dies.' I frowned. 'Charming.' I said. She chuckled.
'And Finally, Fury. She said. 'He wont take shit from anyone, including his superiors. He's fair, and will always listen to both sides of a story. But when he makes up his mind, he won't budge. He doesn't make any bonds with anyone, because he doesn't want to have anyone that will lose him if he dies.' She said. 'Aw, eyepatch has a heart.' I said, sarcastically. May smiled.
'That helps a lot, thanks May.' I said. We both smile, and she pulls me into a hug. I melt into the hug. Melinda May is like my second mother now. 'Anytime, Kiddo.' she said. 'We will be at The Hub in 10 minutes, so tell the others.' She leaves, leaving the bunk door open. I get up, and walk around The Bus, repeating what May said to me.
May flew the plane into the hangar of The Hub. We touched down lightly, and May joined the rest of us in the cargo hold. Coulson and Ward wore the typical suit, and May, Simmons and I wore 'lady suits'

Coulson straightened his tie, and hit the button to lower the cargo hold. He was clearly very nervous to see Fury. I felt like a nervous wreck, but tried to hide it the best I could. Obviously, It didn't work because May, who was standing next to me, squeezed my hand.
The door cargo hold fully opened, and two women came into sight. Both of whom had black hair, one woman with red streaks in her hair. Coulson spoke. 'Agent Hill, Agent Hand.' he said. The one with red hair, Agent Hand,responded, her face emotionless. 'Agent Coulson.' The other woman, with black hair, smiled at Coulson. 'If you will follow us.' Agent Hill said. Everyone obliged. Ward and May looked impassive. Fitz and Simmons looked both nervous, and excited. I did my best to make my face look impassive, like Ward and May, as we all followed Agents Hill and Hand.

The Hub pt 2 is going to be everyone meeting Fury, which should be fun to write...
Yall have about a week to comment chapter ideas for the part one of this story, until I wait till this gets to 1000 reads.
The part two is going to be called Daisy Johnson - Becoming an Agent. But the title may change. Its going to be Daisy going to the SHIELD academy, and eventually joining up with the team again.
