Maria Hill is like the coolest person ever. Just saying. Hand isn't my type of tea though. She's so- down to earth. I mean, so is Hill, but in a good way. Anyway, the 8 of us walked through countless hallways in The Hub. Left, Right, Right, Left, Right.... Until finally we found ourselves outside an elevator. The doors opened, and a STRIKE team walked out. 'Agent Hill.' The front one said. 'Rumlow.' She responded, boredom clear in her voice.
We all went into the elevator. I was growing increasingly nervous by the second. Simmons nudged my shoulder. She leaned in. 'I'm so nervous!' She whispered. 'Nicholas Fury! We are so privileged to meet the director of SHIELD!. I have heard he is really intimidating and-' Simmons stopped, probably realizing she was rambling. I gave her fake evil eyes. 'Not helping!' I whisper yelled.
Ward noticed us whispering in the corner, and walked behind us, sticking his head in the middle of ours. 'Omg we're going to meet the Nick Fury, do you think he could sign my lab suit, he's so inspiring!' Ward whispered in a girly tone, evidently teasing us.
'Omg, do you think so?' I whisper back, in the same tone as Ward. Simmons clearly didn't get that I was going along with Wards joke, because she spoke next. 'Oh Daisy, don't be silly, I think Director Fury has better things to do!' I burst into silent laughter, Ward joining me, when the elevator doors opened. Ward and I quickly recomposed ourselves, and he gravitated back to Coulson and May. Hill, Hand and Coulson walked out the door, May not too far behind. FitzSimmons, Ward and I realized that we were meant to follow, and hurried after them.
Soon enough, Two large doors were in front of us. Hand opened them, revealing a huge office.
