So the corps finally decided to act. A certain bloodstained demon strummed her harp one last time and watched from afar at the black-haired Demon Slayer and her crow companion. But she's not a Hashira. Ubuyashiki is sending her to her death.
"Kagome."
Hearing her name, a pale-faced girl bowed gracefully towards her master.
"The Demon Slayer with the white and blue haori - bring her here."
Kagome nodded. "Understood, Utano-san."
"And one last thing." Utano added as the girl began to leave. "Utano-sama would be preferred."
"Yes, Utano-sama."

Sara hummed with her crow perched on her shoulder until she detected a strange presence. She showed no sign of stiffening or slowing down, but the strange aura put her on edge.
"Piiko." She muttered to her crow. "Scout the area up ahead, and stay out of sight."
"Caw!! Be careful!!" Her crow flapped it's wings and took off.
Walking around the corner cautiously, Sara relaxed slightly. The presence was just a young girl, hugging her knees to her chest on the side of the road. She was a pitiful sight, but she posed no harm to Sara.
The slightly older girl kneeled and observed the younger girl. She looked like she hadn't eaten in days.
"Here. Take this." Sara reached into her bag and offered a rice ball to the girl. "Tell me your name."
The girl's eyes lit up at the sight of food. "Thank you nee-san! My name's Hiroyuki, but just call me Yuki! What's your name?" Hiroyuki smiled broadly.
Sara froze when suddenly, she realised something. This girl is smiling, but her aura hasn't changed at all. Even though Yuki was smiling and seemed to be delighted, her aura remained empty and emotionless.
For the time being, Sara decided shrug it off. "Yuhiko Sara. I will head off now, take care." She said to Yuki shortly, and stood up to leave.
"W-wait! Please, can you come and see my family? We haven't eaten in days, my mum and dad would be really happy if you shared some food with them! Please?" Yuki looked up at Sara with pleading eyes.
However, Sara narrowed her eyes. Her aura is still unchanging. She is peculiar, but...
She took a brief moment to consider her next course of action. ...this girl is undoubtedly human, and she poses no threat to me.
"Here." Sara eventually handed her a box containing four onigiri. "Take this to your family. I must leave now."
"No! Please come with me! I'm scared of walking on the streets alone!" Yuki kept begging. "Yuhiko nee-san..."
"...Fine." It was a waste of her time, but she didn't want to leave Yuki alone, especially when the sky was beginning to darken.
"Yay!! Thank you Yuhiko-san!" The little girl jumped up and down in joy.
Her aura... it's completely empty. There's no sign of any of the emotions she's currently trying to display. Sara noted again.
